I am Shivani, a Chartered Accountant by Profession and currently working at Nomura since 1 year 6 months.
I am planning to give IBSAT,2009.I wanted to know how is IBS,hyderabad
for placements and its faculty members.I also wanted to know is there any issue related with ICFAI centres all over India.Are other IBS campuses closed.Is IBS,hyderabad better than NMIMS. Anyone please help me replying this.

I am Shiv Shankar M S, and i am new to PaagalGuy....

I am an entrepreneur, co-founder of Waybeo Technologies P Ltd, which was started while i was doing my 7th semester B-tech in 2007 November.

I wrote Cat last time and it was a disaster as i landed up in 92.%ile..:sneaky: and i was looking only for a high profile MBA from any top ranked colleges... I decided to try this time also... But started preparation from September end only due to my busy schedules...

Now trying to change my strategies... to increase my number of attempts keeping up the accuracy... as i always score 93&ile; the average or maximum for me in the AIMCATS...

It would be really helpful if you guys can help me in finding out the correct threads for getting inputs...

VA is the weakest QA and Di are ok with almost 90% accuracy... But ver low speed...

I have taken forms of MDI and SP Jain.I ave prepared well for CAT 09.
What is the percentile required in CAT, 09 to get a call from the above colleges.Does MDI and SP Jain takes onto consideration the sectional cut offs like IIMS's.Which is better for placements in finance MDI or SP Jain? What is the average pay at MDI and SP jain?Please let me know.

which college is the best among Symbiosis & what is its average pay?I will give SNAP 09 so i need to know which college among Symbiosis is good for placements in Finance.

for mdi the cutoffs are 96-97%iles
and for SP jain the cut off is 85%ile in cat or xat... But it depends a lot on your profile...

in snap.... sibm (Pune & Banglore), SCMHRD and SIIb are only the good colleges
remaining all are below average

Well there is hardly any difference between the two institutes but average salaries at SPJain could be 5-10% higher than that at MDI (Mumbai being an advantage). Again regarding cut-offs..........

MDI follows the IIM trend of taking high scorersand it could be 97%ile

SP jain follows the Harvard trend and treats your score as only one of many parameters and depending on your profile ,it could give u call even at 88 - 90%ile...........but your profile has to be damn strong for that. For Freshers, the cut-off could be 99%ile
