1.Two couples and one single person are seated at random in a row of five chairs. What is the probability that neither of the couples sits together in adjacent chairs?
choices are. 1/5, 1/4, 3/8, 2/5,1/2
2.As part of a game, four people each must secretly choose an integer between 1 and 4, inclusive. What is the approximate likelihood that all four people will choose different numbers?

3.Out of seven models, all of different heights, five models will be chosen to pose for a photograph. If the five models are to stand in a line from shortest to tallest, and the fourth-tallest and sixth-tallest models cannot be adjacent, how many different arrangements of five models are possible?

well,m an electronics engineer...passed out in 2009....m gonna try 4 mba dis year starting from 5th dec(CAT)....i feel lyk doing a course before joining a b-school....somebody suggested ERP but its not working out....if any1 knows abt a course for 1-2 months dat wud help in mba n future(read placements etc.)....kindly tell me abt it....:grin:

i did my graduation from shaheed bhagat singh college d.u.
in pol. science. and now i am doing m.a. in public administration from
jamia milia islamia university. my future plan is to be a lecturar.
but it will take a long time to be complete. instead of m.b.a.
As i know that now a days everybody is going 4 m.b.a so i don't find my future secure there:.so i just wanna know why everyone go 4 m.b.a and if i do it than it will b good 4 me or not. plz guide me..........
