I am not aware of the cutoff details but can assure you that the faculty and the course is good. The college is located in the city limits. But it admits only for the defense personnels and their dependents.

Hi frns, I'm Ajay having 5 year of job ex in manufacturing sector ...did my mech engg from NIT Jamshedpur. after working for 5 year felt for additional qualification so trying for cat and other good b school exams and hope this is not to late. would like to give best shot with a year of prepration ...not so good in english and would like to imrove my grammer from base level ...could any body sugest me a good book to start with all basics ...and hope I'm not too late to board on this jurney ...

hi all..i am an engineer working with a design consultancy in delhi..and hoping too do MBA soon..
i was thinking if getting CFA level 1 cleared would enhance my chances of getting admission in B-schools like ISB and US B-Schools too...
CAN ANYBODY PLEASE SHED SOME LIGHT ON THIS..

I am rage...currently working as software engineer in TCS ..Its been 2 years and 4 months since i have joined this company and its been too long ... my AIM for next one year would definitely be learn the tricks to tame the CAT ...and yeah ... i am here for fun , information and above all support ...its gonna be one long year and i have to sustain the energy 😃

Hi 'Bathsheba',
If you are interested in a Finance career post-MBA, CFA level 1 is a good way to start. It will help you during the application process by exhibiting your commitment towards your future career. It will also help you during the interview process for internship / full time jobs during the MBA program. So, I will recommend it.

However, just a CFA exam is not enough to score lots of brownie points in the MBA application. The key is to write stellar essays that tie your background, experience, goals, MBA education and CFA together. You should articulate nicely how CFA fits with your future goals and need for MBA. (One question that you need to answer is why not just do CFA and transition to Finance? Why do you need MBA as well?)

I m a BE grad with IT backgrnd n currently wrking as s/w eng
I have enrolled for my distance education MBA at icfai.
Kindly, guide me through the difficulties of these exams. i have herd they are very tough and difficult to clear.
I am not able to spend enough time on studies due to hectic schedule.It would be nice if i cud grab some tips of clearing these exams.
