I am Prasad, I knew about PG, have googled enough to have benefited from PG :-D, but have finally decided to join PG.
Education and Work Ex Background: I have done my BE Comps from Mumbai University, post which I worked as a software dev for 2 years. PGDM from IIM-Indore, have worked with TechMahindra for some time to realize that corporate yuppydom is not my cup of tea :). Worked in a start-up, got VC funding, shifted locations, and now finally working with a consultancy.
Current Occupation: Senior Associate with a transformation consultancy
Why on PG?: Why not? It's high time!
Specifically looking for what on PG? Looking for individuals who realize the difference between a good career and a fat package. For folks who do not do an MBA for higher remuneration.
Aim for next one year? My own firm maybe.

I have taken the snap exam n am xpecting a score around 65... Can anyone suggest me for which college i need to apply.....
SIBM is the most reputed & a top notch B school among all Symbiosis colleges. You can also go for SCHMRD. You should also apply to MBA program of NMIMS,IBS Hyderabad, XLRI,SPJIMR,MDI,FMS. PG/MMS program of JBIMS,Wellingkars,Dalmia,Somayya in Mumbai are also good.These colleges accept CAT, national level and CET scores of Maharashtra for shortlisting candidates.JBIMS only accepts CET score and gives MMS not PG.Bst of luc for ur future career.

This is Ram working in a manufacturing concern.Carry 9 years of work experience in Purchase & Vendor Development but an Electrical Engineer by education(Unfortunate right!!!)
I have started looking at MBA seriously now for two reasons
* To cope up with the fast paced,intelligent,knowledge driven world
* To take a break from work & do things at my own leisurely pace
My long unfilfilled goal is pursuing MBA from US.I have opened the GMAT book many a times but find it hard to continue after a couple of days due to work load.Perhaps,this would be my 15th try to study GMAT.This is definetely not complex unlike CAT however i lose the motivation easily.Lets see this time around with all your blessings i go steadily towards my goal of completing my GMAT.
Anyone would be willing to help me on how to prepare for the GMAT?
# Whether to make a plan & then follow it?
# Whether to give a mock test & strengthen areas that iam weak in?
# Whether to head straight into the GMAT book?

1) coz of MONEY the companies pay u after mba
2)coz i dnt think that looking at my current qualifications i wld be able to capture a good job

Is it ok to start the preparation for CAT-2010.I seek a firm advice from expert please.
