Hullo,

Anirban Roychoudhury, that's how I'm known all around starting from the hospital discharge certificate till the voter ID.... folks back home call me Abir (means Gulal in hindi)...

With Law as my major I graduated from Indraprastha University, Delhi, my days in and around the campus and the magnificent city were fun. Cherish those days to the fullest. School days too were fun and that happened in St. Stephen's, Kolkata and graduating with science at the +2 std... but I put college days ahead of those in school..

Now a Registered Counsel with the Bar Council of West Bengal, I'm a lawyer by profession practicing at the High Court at Delhi and Calcutta for the past one year and eight months. My profession pertains to appearances in the Court, drafting pleadings, researches in matters related thereto... and I deal with matters pertaining to Original and Appellate side jurisdictions in matters related to Corporate Laws(company matters), IPR laws, Banking Laws, and other miscellaneous matters and strictly Civil in nature (I DO NOT LIKE CRIMINAL PRACTICE).

Always had a "thing" for the black and white and Goddess Dyke. Fiat Justitia Ruat Coelum was my motto... and now that I'm into civil litigation I find the world in our profession more different all the way I used to imagine and dream of. I had my share of experience here :)

Planning a bit of career shift and that's how am here.

MBA.
That's what my target is now for the coming year. No more do I intend to be an independent practitioner but shift into a different profession all the way.

Best,

Anirban

well that's not d reason as u must be knowing that last yr there was a downturn in d economy so d placements were affected but not any more this yr the highest package was $69000 made by an mnc bank to an eco(hons) student nd as far as d gbo is concerned last yr packages were a bit low , but that was every where, not this yr for sure. so go ahead nd don't worry

hey ujjwal, well apart frm iim's there's fms delhi, imt gzbd, sibm pune, scmhrd, iift,sp jain, jbims, nmims, xlri, tiss ....to name a few. the major exams u can take are cat,xat,iift,snap,fms,mh-cet,nmat. there's registration gng on for mat nd mh-cet if u want u can take these tests just to get an exp.
