I am Sirish from Pune. I am a Chartered Accountant (Nov. '04 Batch: All India Rank 34), and an M.Com from University of Pune. I have 4 years work experience as an Investment Banking Analyst at Morgan Stanley- 2 years in Mumbai and 2 years in New York.
I always wanted to go for an MBA after 4-5 years of work experience; so now that time has come. I had quit my job 10 months after prolonged frustration with the quality and quantum of work. Have been chilling out ever since. I am a travel super-enthusiast, and have over the last few months gone to several places across the length and breadth of India; mostly travelling by train.
GMAT: 700. Average, but compensated by good acad.s. Applied to HBS, NYU Stern, Duke Fuqua, Michigan Ross, ISB and Columbia. Among US schools, first 4 already dinged :-(, and still waiting for Columbia, my long time original choice.
Interviewed at ISB, lasted 30 minutes and went reasonably well, so keeping fingers crossed!
