Hi to all of the smartest, coolest, nicest and insanest people,

I don't know to which of those I belong to as yet. But well, my name is Pradyumna and I am pursuing my penultimate year of graduation. I am currently pursuing a B-Tech in Mechanical Engg. , from JNTU University. My aim is to crack (well, attempt decently) CAT'10. I, obviously, don't have any work experience except for the odd sumer jobs which dont really count, do they?

My hobbies are reading books, writing, cooking, listening to music and indulging in substances of life! :w00t:

I am from chennai, final yr ECE, had bin posting consistent 90%ile in mocks but prometric has fucked up my results. Q-39%ile, VA 90.99%, DI/DS 67%ile, OA - 71.56%ile. Due to multiple reasons i am lukin fr immediate admissions. Is thr any gud coll tat may take me in? Pls advice:oops:

i'm arushi. post graduate in environmental studies. have been working with ACC Ltd for the past two years now. cat percentile 93.06. have calls from LBS and TAPMI. xat percentile 88. got done with GIM gdpi process last weekend.
have joined the forum to seek help in terms of prep for the gdpi process.
since i'm new to PG, it'd be really kind if someone could direct me to a thread where in i could interact with the GIM LBS and TAPMI students.

I want to know what exactly is the criteria for the IIM admissions???

I mean is there any CGPA barrier for IIM B or any other IIM except shillong???
And to what extent the 10th and 12th class percentage count???
