Hi, My name is Shashank...I'm a bachelor of science working with an IT company as an ERP Functional Consultant (work exp. 2 years)....and I want to pursue MBA in Systems. 😁

Hello frnds I m Vidhi
Education:-Appearing for T.Y. Bcom(N.M.U)
Work Ex Background:-Co-ordinator at IMS Jalgaon also councelor and co-ordinator at DEEPSTAMBH Institute Jalgaon.(working since last 14 months
Current Occupation:- Part time at the same place, as preparing for CAT 09
Why PG:-To get atmosphere of good competition in MBA field.
Specifically looking for what on PG?:-even though being at a job of same feild I am at last a student and want to learn many new things about this feild(MBA) I m more interested to give XAT and TISS as my main focuss is on HR field.
Aim for next one year?:-Target at TOP20 colleges of MBA in INDIA
Aim of LIFE:-To earn money for my parents, my dreams and for the people who really need it(our nations bright but poor children).
So I m waiting for all of u to guide me for quant section as I ve a big phobia of it.As well as can anyone suggest me simplest method to learn vocab .Waiting for ur replies........

hello friends,:
I completed my b-tech in computer science this year in june,got placed at satyam last year on 20th jan 2008. They gave me date of joining as 17th aug 2009 but i didn't received any mail from there.can any one suggest me what should i do ,wait for my joining for SATYAM or prepare for PG.

Current Occupation :Software Engineer

Why on PG? : Wanted to know what's there laying for PG scope in MBA.

Aim for next one year? MBA or someting similar. But only Distance lerning sort.

Experience: 9year in Softeware development.

I would need to know even basics of MBA i.e.
- What's the scope for my kind of profile.
- What are the areas avialable
- What is the way to approach to apply for ..
- All basics.. before jumping in....

Wish every puy best of luck in their journey to the mba world To introduce myself briefly ..I have done my graduation from IIT Kharagpur '06 and thereafter joined the marine/naval industry . As of now I am concentrating on GMAT and related MBA .

I think an mba from a good Bschool abroad would be most suitable for you since apart from having a global mba , your high work experience would be payed off

Why PG:-To be abreast with the latest updates and crack the IIMs

Specifically looking for what on PG?:- How champions of CATS hone their skills and incrase their scores
Aim for next one year?:- IIM (any would do)

CAT 06- 95.99 %ile
CAT 07- 97.10 %ile
CAT 08- 97.99 %ile
GMAT (July '09)- 680

Thanks USS, actually I m thinking to choose some topics in maths where I m comfortable and good in. Can this strategy help me out to crack Quant section.Plz do reply me.

definitely vidhi ....but make sure you don leave out too many questions ...my say is practice the top 60% of topics in ur quantz priority list....this is because to minimise the mistakes inn these sections atleast ....and do keep on brushing the rest with few questions from each ...who knows u might get one or two of them correct on the examination day ...
