@sudhir3127 "When do you guys expect the emails to start coming for the interviews?"
Last week of Sept. may be .. just a guess though .. We will get to know that pretty soon
Last year one started receiving interview invites mail a week prior to scheduled date. So for example anyone applied for Delhi/Mohali as their preferred location, they could expect a mail by 12-14 Oct.
For candidates who choose their preferred location as Hyderabad, it would be much of ordeal as they wouldn't know when to expect a invite. Genrally, the dates were grouped based on the city they were applying from.

Hi,

I was a R1 applicant last year (interviewed and dinged ) and reapplying in the second round this year. I have a GMAT of 710, so reapplying with the same score. Did read through some of the threads this year, I guess there has been a change in the first essay and a video essay has been added.

Yes thats right. but the last years first essay could be reused for this years one. i am a reapplicant too

Whoever applied please update the spreadsheet...Anyone interested in sharing/exchanging video essay now for mutual reviews

All the best to all of you

@fAUXPASS I beg to differ, sir !! From what I was told in an ISB Info session in Bangalore, admissions are made irrespective of the location preference. And two year back, the interviews started even before the first round deadline. So reading too much from the past may not be too helpful in this case.

The mail comes 5-7 days before the interview - ALWAYS!

Shoan: u mean we will have a week to prepare for the interview after the email or the emails start coming 5-7 days before the deadline of interview shortlists with probably alter date?

Anyone who has Hyderabad as interview centre can please confirm when would the interview shortlists start rolling ? I believe the interview dates for Hyd starts 2nd Oct- 11Nov. So does it mean one can expect email around 25-26 of sept ? Or it can anytime between those dates till 11th Nov?

@BharatG - Sorry for the confusion. I didn't mean admission preference but interview location preference. People appearing for interviews at HYD will generally have candidates from multiple locations from western and southern India and other parts wishing to visit the campus. If you see the dates, unlike Delhi and Kolkatta, where the dates are in a small range 19 – 22 Oct, 2012 & 2 – 4 Nov, 2012 respectively, the dates at Hyd are from Sep 25 until Nov 8. What I was trying to say is that for people who are appearing for interview at either Delhi or Kolkatta, it would be less anxious as they can expect a interview call before a week of the actual dates. So a Delhi guy can expect a call post 12th Oct and if there is no update by lets say 17th Oct, he can safely predict he is out of the race. But for people who have applied at Hyderabad, they don't have such luxury. Since the range of dates is quite large, it would be long waiting and wild guessing if one would receive a call or not, before one knows that they are out of the race. You are correct about the fact of candidates receive interview calls before the R1 deadline. ISB had invited candidates for interview at Hyderabad, in cases where they had applied much before the actual dates of R1 application (Not exactly sure about the dates but I remember it was like 1st week of Aug). But it can't be considered as rolling admission as the results were out together with rest of the R1 applicant.

no ... it is not necessary for the calls to be sent 5 - 7 days in advance . I got my call last year with 3 days to spare. Ofcourse, I chosed hyd(hyd) ... so it could be diff in other locations. .. but I have friends for delhi locations im

dint complete ... had some friends from delhi locs got 2-3 days to prepare for intrvws ... my suggestion wud be .. start preparing from now itself ...

@sudhir3127 - Yea it was 1 week prior to the actual date of interview. Like I mentioned in the above post, it would be tough predicting the actual date in case of HYD because of a wide range. But an alternative to that is watch out on PG if anyone from your city has received a call for interview at Hyderabad. Generally they group the selected candidates from a particular city together over a small range.

P.S - I am from Delhi. So the Hyd things is what I could make from others post last year.
@akki.oceanic - Yes the range can be between 2-7 days. But more so 5-7 days. I thinks if they are not satisfied with the candidates they interviewed, they call in more at short notice.

I also read but not sure, there were few cases where a canditate who choose Delhi was called at Hyderabad post the Delhi interview dates. Though I can't reliably vouch this fact. I have a vivid memory.

anyone with app id around 11:55 pm 😁

yes.. start preparing now itself.. cause if it means you have to travel you will spend time putting travel, accommodation, etc into place.. also you have to get comfortable interviewing sitting in a suit.. it is surprising how many people are uncomfortable in a suit.. esp when seated..
@navisangha : Thanks for posting the interview questions, but this file seems to be corrupted...please re-upload the document...
