Hi All,i had written my gmat a couple of months and dint get a good score..so planning to write gmat again on November and hopefully will be applying for R2...any idea whether chances will be bleak if applying to R2 compared to R1??

It doesn't matter whether you apply in Round 1 or Round 2. However, don't wait for the GMAT to get over before you start your application, especially the essays and recommendations. A hastily written application can cause you more harm compared to applying in Round 2.

Hello guys,
A really urgent help required. Can someone please mention the e-mail ID or the subject of the mail for evaluation sent to the evaluator. My evaluator is not able to find the mail as it was sent a couple of weeks back. An urgent reply will be highly appreciated.

@anubhavj Call 040-23187484 (ISB's App help number) and ask them to resend the recommendation mail to your evaluator. These guys are very cooperative and it shouldn't take more than 5 mins. So relax :)
@bharat trying to reach them for the past half an hour. In fact had dropped a mail in the morning but haven't been able to get in touch with them. :/

@anubhavj Keep trying, buddy. Today might be a holiday in Hyderabad as well. Anyway you still have a day to go. Request your recommender to be available all the time tomorrow if it doesn't go through today. And from my experience with the App help folks, I think they will consider even if you miss the deadline tomorrow. Don't quote me on that though. Good luck :)
For the Interview dates and calls, I am quoting someone from the AdCom :
"You will hear from us 1 week prior to the interview date. The interviews would be held between October 1st week and November 1st week."
and today is a holiday in Hyd...

Even though I have heard from several sources that GMAT score isn't a qualifier, does it add any teeth to the application... I am banking a lot on the score! 
How was the adherence to the tentative interview dates mentioned by ISB in their site last year? Need to plan application of leave accordingly!

An IT guy knows one thing ...if not many... always to take a backup...
