Hi All.Long time lurker here.Got my interview invite on 8 Oct and interviewed on 20th Oct at ISB hyd Campus. Intrvw was pretty cool. 2 alums and they were pretty nice to me. Mine was on schedule while the other panels were running later. As mentioned somewhere, Saw very few people around on satdy and sunday. I was stayin with a friend on campus. Qs were genrally abt work exp and y u wanted to join ISB and what value can u add?
Not much drilling, just plain conversation..... As far as i saw, every bdy were decently happy when they came out of intrvw rooms.
@sherlocked Yup! Had my interview on 14th Oct. I too noticed quite a few people coming out decently happy after their interview. I too am in the same boat!
Don't you think fewer calls have gone out this year? Interviews don't seem to be going on on weekdays as compared to last year when they started early and happened on weekdays too.
Had my interview yesterday...2 alums...pretty cool. lot of cross-ques...nothing about work. grilled a bit.gave 1 puzzle.discussion on short term goals.read my one word essay completely(i heard nobody reads but guess i was wrong).asked about hobbies
It seemed they didn't know about my app much..they were going thru it during the interview process. No clue wat ISB is looking for..As far as i can say, nothing much related to mba..no ques on why mba/isb?
P.S. there are a lot of silent observers on PG, so don't assume that the interview calls are less this time.
@rohan80 this wait for delhi call is really excruciating and annoying. Really wish that the ISB too has followed the target date strategy adopted by IIMS in which the candidates know beforehand that when they can expect the outcome rather than checking the inbox / sms every now n then.
To ISB call - जब भी कोई आहट आये, लगता है की तुम हो
@paras123 - I couldn't agree more my friend... Either people would prepare for weeks or they wont prepare at all for interview... so whats the point of informing only a week in advance? so that people panic and mistakenly spend a lot on hotel accommodation and air tickets? Its so ironical that some may say that management school is testing ur patience but what about lessons on 'planning' and time management?.... guess I am getting little frustrated... :)
