I had my interview yesterday at Hyd. I have posted earlier about the call and the profile. Have really benefitted from some of the experiences and consultants on the forum esp @ivyctor and want to share my experience here.
There was only 1 panel yest and in the attendance sheet there were 7 candidates listed. Backgrounds were pretty diverse 1 CA, 1 consulting, 1 telecom, 1 banking and 2 from It. Exp ranged from 2 to 8 years. 2 women candidates and 5 gentlemen.
Pre-assessment is a one word essay in 50-100 words and your essay topic was given only about when the candidate before you was about go for the intv. There was one alum and one ad-com member before lunch but that changed to one faculty and a different adcom post lunch.
Interview was not stressful but wasn't a piece of cake either. For me questions were about my most recent work experience, challenges faced on the job and contributions made to the org. Also I was cross-questioned on another part of my application which was mentioned in the third essay. I wasn't exactly asked why MBA but I was asked about post MBA long term and short term goals.

@ All Those coming to Hyderabad for Interviews - My suggestion would be that you guys do take some time and try to meet some of the students of class of 2013. They will be more than glad to share their ISB experience (so far..) and provide you a tip or two to prepare for your ISB experience!! Also, networking always helps! 😉
@Amit_CATaclysm I have interview location of Kolkata. Still waiting for the call. I think most of the guys who are in the forum and have got call have either interview location at Hyd or Skype...I have not seen response from anybody with interview location as Kolkata get a call...Hoping for the best..

i guess the offer date mentioned on ISB portal is on or before 15 nov. Given they want to offer at least 500 (of which 400 may join), i expect interviews to end by 8 Nov at least.
@ps25 interviews always go on till the very last day.. so calls go out till the 3rd (& 4th sometimes)

oh you mean interviews happen till 15th Nov?

...then whats the end date for offers in R1?@ps25 nope.. calls go out till 3 (sometimes 4th).. interviews happen until the 8th.. n then all calls happen on (which if majority of the cases) or before the 15th..
