Also, can seniors or anyone from the group enlighten me on how to apply for the student loan? Heard that some banks provide security-free education loans that covers full fees. Will be glad, if some one can provide some info.
Take a chill pill for another 2 to 3 months. Closer to the R2 results ISB will start posting the details of the Banks with which ISB ties up. They'll give you the contact details including the loan details. Usually the whole loan application process takes anywhere between 2 days to 1 week at the max. Us CO2013 folks started the loan process sometime in 1st week of March.

Hey guys,
I remember seeing the specs for digital signature and the photograph to be uploaded (to accept the offer) on this forum. I don't find it now. Can someone please re-post the specs??

Wow, that is pretty far away. I thought details will come in the admit package and I was planning to start approaching the banks in the 1st week of December itself.

Admit package ?? You mean admit letter right ? As far as I remember there were 2 packages I received from ISB. One around Nov 22nd which was basically the Admit Letter and some welcome letter. The second one around March which was the Windows 7 DVD.

A person on the Co2014 FB group posted this reply he got from ISB:
Photo: 450(h) x 375(w)
Signature: 50(h) x 150(w)
All specs in pixels. Hope this helps.

Guys who have already accepted the admission offer, a quick question. When you transfer the amount are you to mention the ARN or your name so ISB can identify the account from which the payment has been made?

@lans3009 i made rtgs transfer. Bank gave URN no which has to be mentioned along with account no and name of sender

Can anybody please explain the digital signature thing???

@him2asu Me too in Mohali!!!
@xan Ok, so that's what you get ! I thought you'd come to know more about the school which helps you prepare for it, some stuff you need to study before coming, when to pay fees, what to bring and what not to, etc etc
@xan Laptop config? ISB does allow Macs to be used on campus right?

Yes Mac should do as well. However there a few software for which Windows is a must. So most of the Mac users install Parallels or Bootcamp to run Windows on Mac. You will basically end up using OSX 90% of the time while the remaining 10% you will use Windows for some assignments or project

Shifting the focus once again to R2 applicants... I just submitted my application for R2 and my app ref number is 141359.. As we already know around 1300 people applied in R1 have only 50 odd people submitted applications thereafter??

@vjmannur : Still 10 days to go....i am sure it would definitely close in to near 1300......i am planning to submit it a couple of days before the R2 deadline.....Any idea how many offers rolled out in R1???

My 2 cents: The 14**** series is the order in which you created your profile on the application portal. Cause I created it really early and mine was in the first 100s. This number will keep on changing during the course of admission process and many fellow R1 admits will join me here in strongly advising you all to ignore the ARN. It was a source of much confusion and anxiety and us wisened junta can now afford to look back and laugh at it πŸ˜ƒ
Start preparing for your interviews and ATB!

No idea as to how many offers were rolled out. But I am sure that many were wait-listed. And as per my knowledge the number of applicants is always higher in R2 than in R1. So do not rush with submitting the application. My app was ready like a fortnight ago but i spent 15 days re-reading and tweaking the app. I submitted only when I was sure it was the best i could do... So lets do our best and get an admit irrespective of how many offers were rolled out... πŸ˜ƒ :)
@vjmannur : Well, i have been working on my ISB app since the day it was thrown open. I had prepared my written essays well in advance and those have gone through umpteen no. of reviews by now. Its the video thing which is keeping me on hold for quite some time now.Hope to finish it by this weekend.I do not find many R2 applicants out here.

R2 applicants : itna sannaata kyo hai bhai....
@delatpg Hi. I am also a R2 applicant working on the app now. Lekin mere to essays bhi abhi order me nahi hai, video to durr ki baat hai... With 10 days remaining, have to start working sincerely now...
