A quick question, when will the adcom communicate about the admit/reject news for interviewed candidates?
I am a R1 applicant and I got the verification email a week before the last day of scheduled interviews. And I was called for the interview a couple of days later. I feel you guys should wait before you get disappointed!

@raghupro As per ISB website interview date for Delhi is 17-22 Jan.. I dnt think they will cent percent stick to the schd... They mention in mail that we will be given call just 5-7 days bfr interview.. Did u get d verification mail bro..
One thing that has taken me through CAT days and now GMAT is fellows on forums like these who sail on the same boat. Sometimes its so reassuring to know you arent the ony one in a bit of screwup.

7 of my colleagues have got verification emails since today morning. 4/5 others on this forum and BTG have got them today as well. Even for R1, a huge spurt was in the last 2 days ie 20th and 21st day from deadline in the number of verifications. Its logical to assume that in the last two days they ensure that every app has been verified and will be rechecked again for interview shortlists, given time.
Remember the interview emails for ISB will go into first / second week of Jan easily.
The interviews are scheduled between Dec end till Feb first week, everyone knows that. The verification email tells you that you could be informed 5 / 6 days before your slot. So whenever your slot is, expect a verification a week before that. Ideally it should go till Jan end. Note that many R1 guys recieved interview shortlists even one day before slots. Specially if you were active last year in forums, you would know.

My suggestion is not to get too worked up about who has and who has not gotten the interview call as the general practice at ISB is to send out the interview calls in batches once they have decided upon the panel for a few slots.
Secondly, while preparing for the interview, you must understand the general composition of the panel. It will typically consist of couple of people from the AdCom and a alum. Sometimes, a faculty may be present. Now, all these people (especially the AdCom guys) have listened to at least a thousand stories. You are there in the hot seat because the AdCom found the story you have put in the application and essay interesting. Now, the interview panel is trying to evaluate if that story is genuine or something you made up for the application. So, go through each and every line in your app and essay with a fine tooth comb and ensure that you have got everything down. So, if you are a movie buff, make sure you have your directors all lined up. If you speak spanish (in your application), be ready to have a conversation in spanish with an exchange student. And if you have done some charity work, you better be able to show a consistent track record of what you have done with names and figures and field probing questions on those.
Thirdly, most of you will be well versed with the current affairs. But what ISB is looking for is not your GK, but your ability to analyse. You must have a point of view, even if it is contrary. So, when you go through your morning paper, just take up a few "burning" issues and debate it out with a friend or mentor. So its not enough to know that Modi won the elections, but you must have an opinion on what it means for India in the long run and you must be able to hold to your argument with a logical chain of thoughts.

Did you get the admission ?
So if the final confirmations will arrive only on 15th of feb then every one of us need to wait anxiously till Feb 15th, first for the verification mail then for interview call and then for the final result. So there is no point in disturbing our work and waiting anxiously in each phase! 😛
I think they might hv got t shock of their life after watching my video abt life!!!!Hence hvn't got t verification mail till now 😞
Got a mail saying my application is complete except the official score report.
I don't understand. GMAC says my score report was sent to the ISB on 27 Nov 2012.
What am I supposed to do?? 
@Aniket_87 yes i was only referring to the interviews at Hyderabad campus and skype and telephonic interviews.. rest other centers, the interviews will be held as per the schedule. Since there are a lot of applicants , ISB mite take some time to revert, but they definitely will, atleast with the verification mails for every one. The interview calls for shortlisted candidates can be expected till very late coz they only send mails 5-7 days before the date of interview. I myself got the call for interview on 2nd November for the interview to be held on 7th.

@sahniprashant One of my friend had a similar problem as well so he mailed ISB by forwarding the GMAC confirmation mail and ISB sorted it out later. Try doing the same or better call up and talk to the adcom.
