@LuckyThirteen Dude, that's a conspiracy theory. The message on my portal still is the same as before ..... "if shortlisted"....... So, what you are basically trying to say is you have been shortlisted and all those applicants whose portal doesn't contain the words "if shorlisted" have actually been shortlisted.
"So, what you are basically trying to say is you have been 'unofficially confirmed as shortlisted for the interview ' and for all those applicants whose portal doesn't contain the words "if shortlisted" are still in the process of being shortlisted."
Yup, that is my theory. I cant think of any other explanation.
I invite everyone to check out the message that is displayed on log in and post your messages here.
Again, i dont want anyone to lose any sleep over this. The "if shortlisted" message
DOES NOT IMPLY that you are dinged ! I interpret this message to mean "you are still being considered".
Scratch my previous message - Your message was accurate the first time around.
I messed it up when i edited the message. It's close to midnight here..:-)
Here is what i wanted to say . Again, let me state that at this point, this is ALL CONJECTURE.
If you are already shortlisted, then when you log in to the isb site to check the application status, you will see the message " "Your application has been verified and found complete. Further update will be available approximately 5 to 7 days before the interview date for the interview location you have chosen."
If you are in the process of being shortlisted, when you log in to the isb site to check the application status, you will see the message" "Your application has been verified and found complete. Further update on short-listing will be available approximately 5 to 7 days before your interview, if shortlisted, for the interview location you have chosen"
@LuckyThirteen are u sure about this theory??? coz if they have already sort-listed you and not decided upon the date will they actually take the effort to change the status? I suppose the actual change in status will happen upon receiving and i/v call...
@LuckyThirteen : i appreciate your eye for detail but do not really understand how does it helps your cause.Even if the proposed theory is true, it only adds up to your anxiety that you have been short-listed but still in queue for i/v and cannot get any confirmation from ISB on the same before long-awaited i/v mail.Given the theory is true, it would only serve purpose to those who have doubts whether their app is worthy enough of an i/v call from ISB.
P.S.: yes, my app status still puts me in the 'if shot-listed' category.
@raghupro I so wish i did, but have not, i m on the waitlist.. So imagine how long my wait has been stretched to.. Patience is one virtue ISB has taught me even before deciding to take me on board!
