@gambler They do not have permanent panels. Panels differ each day. The panel consists of Adcom, Alums and/or current students. There have been cases where only alums were present or 1 adcom member and 1 alum or 1 alum and 1 current student or ... different combinations. It changes everyday. Interviews at Hyd go on for 2 months and the slots are allotted depending on the availability of the interviewers. You can never be sure.
For todays interviews there were no current students because they hav exams going on. So we cant predict anyth.
As long as you are sure about why mba and why isb, and sound confident you are good. ISB interviews are very different from other Indian b school interviews. All that matters is how thorough you are with your application and how clear you are about your goals (... as I have been told umpteen times by current students and alumni)

@gambler As long as you can speak with conviction and defend everything you have written in your app, especially ur essays, I think you will do well no matter who interviews u. ATB

Don't worry about it much... It is just to check you have written the essays in ur App...

are interviews done region wise? for example all the guys from mumbai will be interviewed at one go, and then other regions will follow? any idea anyone?
@ChintanDhyan no, the first 3 interviewees y'day (including myself) were from Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bangalore respectively.
