You will get an A4 size sheet with a big box. The word will be at the top including instructions and you have to write your essay in the box below. You will get 15-20 min to write 50-100 word essay.

I did not specifically apply for a deferred admission (don't think you can mention that in your application). They would definitely ask you if you would be able to cope up with the pressure studying with people with more than 5 years experience. You just need to exlain to them how you can fit yourself in that environment.
Not sure if many people are offered deferred admission.
ok.. when does the hope of interview call end for Hyderabad (BGL) group ?
Dont loose hope ...Last date for interview at Hyderabad is 7 Feb ..so 2nd Feb should be the last day for the interview call..Keep preparing for the interview till then.
@MBAspirant10 My interview revolved around my work profile and my future career goals. There was cross questioning on Why ISB and Why MBA now, which I answered. A conversational interview! The last question was on hobbies.
I do not know how much time my interview lasted. I was the first person to be interviewed that morning and didn't check my watch when I went in. Seemed long enough :)
And another thing, I was reading some of the posts on the previous pages....The "If shortlisted" theory certainly went down the drain. I have completed my interview and my app portal still has the same phrase under App Status.
Refrain from such speculative conjecture and indulge in something productive. To the puys who are still waiting for an interview call or even preparing for an interview, the best source of info is last year's thread. Detailed interview experiences, shortlisted profiles and some very very entertaining posts.
Hey puys, Does ISB cross check on the employment record with the current employer. I took my recommendation from my current manager but my relationship with him has not been smooth lately. If yes, does ISB consult with the current manager OR company as such. What if somebody has resigned form the current employer? Does that matter?
