I was going through old posts in this forum and got to know that few of R1 applicants didn't get i/v call because their experience and salary were too high (> 8 years and 30 L) which is higher than medien outgoing salary for ISB. Does onsite deputation count as your salary? I think I might fall into this category. :(( Has any R2 applicant with more than 8 years of experience got an i/v call? Very nervous 😞
@srm85 , I too have fever, unlike interview fever its a throat infection fever, sore throat , running nose..

@crackster what is the con in If you get in? Are you waiting for an HBS admit, that's the only con I can see
ISB isnt as rosy as it seems fellas.
@Manegger no B school is, not even IIM A. And ppl with work-ex will know that no matter how good the company you're working in, its your performance that counts in the end. Same goes with a B School
anyone from chennai got the interview calls.. does seem chennai applicants havent received calls till now though i have not been following this thread continuously.. everyday seems to a be a year waiting for the mail...

Regarding my Profile.Welcome to most stereotypical and cliched one.
Education : Very Average
Class X : 82% (West Bengal Board)
Class XII : 83% (West Bengal Board)
Under-Graduate : BE-IT 82% (Jadavpur University)
GMAT : Average
710 (Q49, V37, AWA 5,IR 7)
Job : Another super average
TCS (4+ Yrs ) 2 Yrs in USA
Extra-curricular : Very little to null
Essay Writing capability : I am not known to write very well and I have not taken any essay writing service so I am assuming this is also average.
I am not sure how much they filter from Application to interview round if none at all.
The only difference in my profile is that my humble background.I had a lot of hardships in my teens and for that I have worked in part time during college in all sorts of thing starting from a daily farmer to priest 
.Considering how ISB brags about the percentage of admitted students with international experience, My international experience also serves a influence I believe.Apart from these I think I am superbly average (I mean look at my acads,GMAT and experience all in the average ISB category )

Was someone actually rejected with this reason??? I find it rather hard to believe. In my batch there were people who had work ex of more than 10yrs and trust me there were many people for whom 30L would actually be a step down ;)

BE-Mechanical Engineering Bangalore university 65.2%
ME-Aerospace Engineering -Indian Institute of Science Bangalore -CGPA 6.3/8.0
Work Experience around 10 years (In Mechanical and aerospace companies)
1 year International Experience (USA).
Started up a company and ran it for a year(company still exists!!!!)
Selected as one of the top thirty finalists in the Lockheed Martin India Innovates program 2008
Rest of my experience has been in Mechanical MNCs and in a Government R&D; establishment.
Can anybody in the forum please evaluate my profile and let me know my chances for ISB.

What's the matter with Kolkata i/v calls?? Any idea anyone?? The i/v dates are supposed to be next weekend and still no call reported on PG?
Is it that the Kolkata puys are the only ones who are not getting i/v calls??
@iamsaipavan88I too dint find any calls from chennai yet....I even asked questions at ISB info session in chennai..seems they forgot me...:P 😁
