I have my interview tomorrow at the Hyd campus. I am a re-applicant and was dinged last year without an i/v. I am from telecom domain and hoping for a good i/v tomo. I hope I will be able to catch up with some puys tomo. I received the i/v mail last week.
I will update this forum with my experience.

One of my friends who got into INSEAD was a probationer at SBI. He said it is much easier to get into top B schools abroad than IIMs or even ISB. The reason he stated was that the competition in those B schools is not solely based on your knowledge in quant or GK. They test your willingness to take up greater responsibilities while being ethical and aware of your social responsibilities. To that extent, they might ask what social work you been involved in while working. They will ask you questions on hypothetical work and life situations and test your innovative practical problem solving skills on the spot. What IIMs do is to check whether you have awareness of everything that goes around you and how good you are at theory in acads. They do not give any attention to your thought process or pressure handling other than stats churning.
But hey, Govt. has had enough with the MP kids are not getting through. A takeover seems imminent. Then we might have weights on no of illegal activities on your CV.

Hey guys! Can anyone setup a poll so that we can get some data and some do some analytics on our chances..total applications v/s total iv calls.
further breakdown could be backgrounds of iv invites eg - IT, BFSI, Consulting etc.
We have some time to kill..we might as well kill it this way.

rather create a spreadsheet in google docs capturing all the data n then we can do all the analysis to kill time
