@tripamb and @mvikred , ,Are you guys sure that results come at 8 pm in the night? or is it 8 am in the morning? The reason I am asking is that it will be very hard to wait till 8 in the evening, especially over here in NZ... it will be 3.30 am saturday morning over here...
They are right. You can find the result in your inbox when you wake up, if you manage to get some sleep...

@TheMask03 dont worry man...you will be fine...it always happens with 90% crowd...

I need to know the books from which i can prepare for the GMAT i wanted to apply for the ISB-HYD for 2014-2015 Session

@srm85 and @goldhunter80
yar, I am already having sleepless nights... I don't know what will happen on 15th!!!

Best thing would be to follow BeatTheGmat and GmatClub forums. Spend 1 or 2 days and you will find what works and what doesn't. They also have self-study plans. Pick the one that suit you and go with it. Stay away from Veritas Prep books. They are too expensive and good for nothing. MGMAT is better. And you gotta have Official Guides (OGs).
@rohitsa I have no idea dude. I am trying to find out about the same !

Are u guyz kidding me ?? 5PM officially and tentative time of declaration 9 PM ?

Why are we counting it as 15th Feb then ???
Its 16th Feb then.

5 more days to go.

50 pages in 3 hrs for R1 ??? ha ha ha ha.. would love to get back to reading mode with popcorn and Pepsi in my hands :D

Does anyone know the number of people selected for interview. I am guessing that given the number of days interviews ran for, there would be around 2000 people who would have been called for interview.

dun think that number is correct... total number of applications for R2 itself were close to 2000....

I guess lets not get into "Guess the numbers" game.. Its a highly tempting one.. But in the end it only increases our anxiety levels.

There is a lot of math you can find around R1 posts

@klewless @rohitsa
If 10:4:1 ratio for applicants: interviews: admits is to be believed to be true

Then anything between 2310 (3x770) - 3080 (4 x 770) people have been interviewed.
Which is minimum I guess.

IIMs send interview calls in the ratio of 10 : 1
@klewless, yeah that's right... I was somehow thinking that all 770 will be selected from R2. Completely forgot about R1.

Oh u guyz meant only R2 ??

Sorry.
Then just half the numbers. :D

Waah @Kode_A ... you're great. Before we even started the game, you came up with an answer!!!

@rohitsa bus sir admi toh hum bachpan se hee Dabang hai... bus ghamand nahi hai by god :)
Nice @Kode_A Let's have everone's views on something else then.
What's your one-point agenda for Valentine's day 2013? ;)
Proposing someone
Fisihing for Valentine
Partying with Valentine
@rohitsa Fishing for a gift for my headache.
Got a book on "how to lose weight in 30 days"

Dont think she ll perceive it as a romantic gift :D

ya ya me too hoping I wont be dumped on the V day :)

What about u ?

I guess now the forum for sometime will be called "Not getting dumped/booed on Feb'14 aspirants" rather than the original name..

:) :P

@Kode_A I'll celebrate V day on 15th, depending on the results :)
