There seems some issue with my application reference number. Could anyone confirm whether ISB sends mail to accepted candidates as well as updating on their site? Thanks in advance.
@serenity_now hi, for R1 candidates, they sent a mail almost immediately after updating on the portal. the portal was updated around 8:30-9:00 PM and i received my mail @ 9:16PM. the only category of students who did not receive the mail the same day were those who applied and got scholarships. in their case, the mail appeared the next day, but thye got a telecall from the ISB almost the same time as portal updation.. i hope this helps..
I have heard that sometimes pressure brings out the best in people. No such luck on this board.

During round 1 there was some trouble with the website. From what I understand through the forum posts, the trouble seemed to be correlated with the people who had received scholarship amounts. Hence there was a set of phone calls made to those students to inform them.
Do not expect phone calls. Common sense tells us that it is not feasible for anyone to call up 300+ people after 8 PM.
