Hi to all....people on this forum are amazing....what's there to be so aggressive? Let me state that whether I clear PT or not doesn't add or deplete my current financial strength. I'm well placed in an MNC and my husband is a bureaucrat in the State Govt. as well. Just that at times you want to challenge yourself....but it's fine even if I don't make it considering that I just prepared for a week or so
@JPSCAspirant truth be told, cutoff prediction is pure speculation. it's the marks obtained by the nth candidate when there r n seats. So even if the n-1 th candidate score 240 and the next candidate is you with 178 marks, you sail through. My point is, one should get over what happened in the past ASAP. We can't control the past but we can sure have a say in shaping our futures. So scientifically speaking u still stand a chance however improbable it may seem. But realistically u should continue building your basics if ur passionate about civil services. At any rate u need to be mentally strong and not let yourself get offended so easily if see yourself as a civil services officer.
On a honest note, mujhe samjh nai aa rha PT ke cutoff ko lekar argument karne ki jarurat kya h..jo k sirf qualifing h. MAINS jo k baap h..uske liye prprn karna chhaiye jo serious Candidates h unko.pichle saal ka UPSC topper wala case toh pata h haii naa. PT me jyada kamm laane se kuch nai hona. All the best guys..!!!

We can see that some/many residents of Jharkhand (particularly women) feel embarrased to tell people of other states that they belong to Jharkhand. Even their facebook profiles consist of wrong information or misleading information. They prefer to mention the place they are residing now such as Delhi or Pune but avoid mentioning Jharkhand. They prefer calling themselves Bihari or say that they are from UP, and nowadays even West Bengal is being used as the pseudo homestate. In light of this critical issue, discuss the steps Jharkhand gvt should take that so that residents of Jharkhand can proudly call themselves a Jharkhandi.
It has been observed that those confident truthtellers who, while interacting with people from other states online, mention thay they are from Jharkhand but are not tribals; a stress is given on 'non-tribal status' to diplay ones identity. What steps should govt of Jharkhand take so that non-tribal people don't feel uncomfortabe in them getting misidentified with tribals. How can tribals be potrayed as equals wit non-tribals and any such social discrimination avoided? Discuss.

Guys.. just gave another read to the brilliant syllabus that JPSC has made. everytime I read it it takes me hours to just read the syllabus. there is good chance we will miss importat stuffs in it. I think for mains the first and most important task is to cover the syllabus end to end. I was just thinking if we highlight 5-10 topics from the syllabus everyday in this group and discuss Q&A on that it would be a good amount of food for brain.
Those who ll b already aware of the topics on a particular day they can just ignore it and wait for the topic they are interested in. @Autark @oraon15 what say guys ? may be with 10-15 mins of daily effort we can avoid missing important topic. if you have any better suggestion then please post guys.....
