If it had been a forum for banking or SSC and this kind of loose talking on reservation had been happening here then one could have understood it somehow, but coming from the aspirants of state's elite services this is plainly incomprehensable.
It just shows that a lot of people here are just reading the concept of equality and social justice without even contemplating that these are hard reality of our society. The concerns and questions that are being raised are incidently the same ones that have been answered in NCERT civic's textbooks.
We are a peculiar generation it seems, and I also am a part of which,very self centered and a bit delusional,living on the nicer part of our towns and cities and thinking whole world is like that only. We know the present as well as past data about everything gender violence, atrocities against ST/SC, income distribution across comunities etc and still like to believe that there is no casteism.
I have seen the argument that there are poor people in general category also and I totally empathise with them, but we have to understand one thing very clearly that Policies are generalist in nature, they cater to overall scenarios.
I would end with quoting Hon'ble Supreme Court "Reservation is a hard reality, general category should understand it.", PTI,2017.

JPSC Recruitment 2016-17
Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) is a govenrment agency which conducts examination to fill up vacant positions in the Government of Jharkhand and its offices. JPSC has released a notification for JPSC Civil Services. Aspirants who qualify the eligibility criteria can fill their Application form on the official website of JPSC for various posts. A total of 326 vacancies will be filled through JPSC exam. Candidates need to clear all the stages of Recruitment process such as prelims, main exam and interview rounds. Detailed information can be checked on the official JPSC website.

Following are the important dates of JPSC exam dates.
Opening date for JPSC Online Applications Form - 10/18/2016

JPSC Exam Pattern:
JPSC Preliminary Exam:
JPSC 6th Preliminary exam will have two papers:
1) General Studies Paper I
2) General Studies Paper II.
General Studies Paper I will have 100 objective type questions, having 2 marks each. The questions in Paper I would be as follows :
- History of India – (15 questions can be asked on this topic)
- Indian Policy & Governance – (10 questions can be asked on this topic)
- Geography of India – (10 questions can be asked on this topic)
- Economic &Sustainable Development – (10 questions can be asked on this topic)
- Science and Technology – (15 questions can be asked on this topic)
- Jharkhand Specific Questions (General Awareness of its Jharkhand's History, Culture, Heritage & Society, ) – (10 questions can be asked on this topic)
- National & International Current Events – (10 questions can be asked on this topic)
- General questions (Miscellaneous) – (15 questions can be asked on this topic)
General Studies Paper II will have 100 questions and each would be for 2 marks. The main difference between Paper I & II is that Paper II will test the candidates on their knowledge about Jharkhand.
JPSC Exam Admit Card:
The registration for JPSC 6th Combined Civil Service exam closed on 18th November 2016. JPSC notified that applicants will be able to download their respective JPSC Admit cards from the official JPSC website from 6th December 2016. Candidates should download their JPSC exam admit cards and preserve it carefully as it will be mandatory for the candidates to carry along during the exam. JPSC admit card will also be required for the further process.
JPSC Preliminary Test Result:
JPSC PT (Preliminary Test) was successfully conducted by the JPSC. Candidates appeared for JPSC PT to further qualify for the JPSC Mains Exam. Only those candidates would qualify for JPSC mains exam who clear the minimum cutoff declared by the JPSC. JPSC announced 6th PT examination result on the 24th February 2017.
How to check JPSC Preliminary Test Results?
1) Candidates should first visit the JPSC official website.
2) Then click on the notification link.
3) Then select the click on Recent Examination section.
4) Then look for 6th CCS PT exam result.
5) After clicking on the “Result” tab candidates will be able to view the results.
Candidates should check their results carefully and save it with them for further selection process.

Jharkhand Public Service Commission successfully conducted JPSC 2016 Preliminary Test across various locations on 18th December 2016. Earlier, on 18th October JPSC notified about JPSC exam to fill the vacancy at various Government offices for various posts. JPSC 2016-17 Selection Criteria:
Candidates have to clear all the stages of Recruitment process such the preliminary test, main exam and interview rounds. Only those candidates who qualify the Preliminary test will be able to appear for the JPSC Mains exam. After qualifying JPSC Mains exam candidates will be shortlisted for the interview process. Candidates will also have to clear medical tests for final selection.
