Those who have done with their interviews please tell me if interview panel is asking technical questions from any subject of candidate's engineering stream or from only that subject which we will provide on our biodata form as our area of interest? ... please do reply ... it will be a great help to us guys...
I have asked my friend who appeared for kvb po interview @bangalore and he said there is no way to clear interview wthout sound graduation knowledge.And i have upper hand above others since i am 2017 pass out hence i want to grab this opportunity with both hands.
Since i have not got mail for interview........Ihave joined 15days fastrack btech learning programme @ Guindy, they will teach for 8 hrs a day and will make base absolutely clear....if u want to join with me just msg me asap.

Yesterday was my kvb po interview. I completed my grad in civil engg 2016 from bangalore only.After all verification& biometric formalities interview was done.
Mine was 8th number. And to my surprise all 7 above me were out after giving 10-12min interview.....they were asked simple intro and banking terms.To be straight they were not going to be selected it was evident from their faces.
My turn came...... there were 3 panelists all in age group 55-65...reallly experienced. M1 asked me just 2-3 single line qn from my family background.Then M2 asked me 3-4 banking terms. I answered very well.....and now they wanted to invest their precious time in my technical m3&m2 combined sked me qns regarding my civil engg. Qns were based on
a)coefft of friction b/w various materials
b) load efficiency curves
c)steel structures connection details
now m1 asked me abt qns on Mechanics os solid ( stree/strain/hooke's law)
Now m2 asked me whether i hv studied visual basic.net and asked 1 qn related to that.
Apart from that 3-4 rapid fire which i dont remember.
Also 2017 pass out will not face those very tough qn regarding ur passout date what i faced or 2015/14 faced....they will avoid that.
Overall panelists were polite and highly educated and they meant bussiness.
They were not at all wasting time on candidates who dont hv any idea abt their grad they were happy sending them out in few minutes.
I would say my interview lasted for abt 35-40 mins.
Answered most of the qns including tech qns and hopefully will get final selection.
Tips to those who hv their interviews left:: U hv to impress them with ur tech/grad knowledge if u run from that or beat arnd bush they will not forcefully ask u. And if they dont ask u will be the looser.

My friend is working in kvb since 2 yrs and he told the reason behind so many technical questions asked in kvb interview unlike other bank po interview. They are asking technical questions coz they just want to check whether u r doing time paas or are sincere for this job. He was interviewed in 2015 and he told his interview was just of 5 minutes and he skipped all technical questions (mechanical) stating he is not so strong. They just want to check that if u r good in technical u would leave the job in future and would go for some high paying technical job which most of the people are doing in kvb since 4-5 yrs.. Just focus on banking knowledge and basic computer knowledge.. There is no use of coefficient of friction in bank po..

Here is the thing....im 2015 pass out. I know nothing about my graduation in (Btech) mechanical. I have cleared many banking xams including last year ibps po, sbi po(both 16&17), rrb po...and this kvb po whose xam was a cakewalk to me ......... but every time im OUT in interview. Basically i introduce myself very well..... answer most of their qns except my branch related. This is my 4th year of banking preparation i can clear any written xam but interview just sucks. Even in kvb po i attempted 186qns.
But seeing the reviews from this page and from my friends who appeared @bangalore and many who r in kvb/lvb/prvt banks it looks like i will be out in interview here also.From their point the only way to get in is put ur knowledge in front of them & show them ur seroius in ur studies throughout.
So, tell me what to do.......my parents r now forcing me out of the house and to get this job i hv to study Mechanical....which i will not even if i die.
**i want only banking job.

Friends i appeared for my interview on wednesday @bangalore. I reached on time and after all paperwork including document verificatio,biometric, tea & biscuits we were given a slip that we have to carry in our interview.
My turn came, i went inside greeted well, this wasnt my first time actually 11th interview to be precise so was not nervous but confident. There were 3 members(m1,m2,m2), were really experienced and looked like veterans.
M1 asked me qns on my studies, background etc. Then m2 asked me what i was doing after my grad, i completed in 2014.after that m1 asked me 3-4 banking qns, i answered well.Then for the first time M3 asked me 1 technical qn from my ece branch though i fumbbled but somehow managed to give answer......but it was not correct i think i could not answer their counter qns. Then m3 again tried to ask me qn but M1 signalled him to stop and he stopped then m2 told me " it was pleasure to have u....we will inform u".
So what indications does it give u will i be selected or not?
or Was that answer so bad that they decided not to ask further?
Overall my interview was of around 10mins.
I am really frightened plz help me.....

Here people are making terrifying gestures and now I can connect why God gave me that verse that damorning to read. Those awho are done with interview be relaxed Trust in God evrything will be alright.
