Who all r got 21/08/17 - 25/08/17 (between this) interview date .. ?
First of all i would like to thank my coaching institute at guindy which made me kvb-interview- ready in just a week's time. Coaching of my technical subject today came handy.
I was interviewed today at t-nagar @chennai. After all formalities i was alotted venue 3.
One of them welcomed me and asked abt me/my family nd all. After that he told "so u r 2017 pass-out......good......must be fresh with ur concepts..am i right?"
I nodded yes and then he said so i shd directly start with what that is necessary and must........ and then he asked 2-3 qns on transformers and 1 qn on dc machines.After that he asked me different principles of motors ac/dc and properties and ended with a qn on converters. I answered all his qns and they were really impressed.
One of them told me u hv answered very well.Then another sir gave me a paper and pen told me to write 2 eqns(he narrated) after that asked me to draw the waveforms. I drew that within 1-1/2 mins. After that they asked me 2 qns from that graph and then asked 2-2- qns from Drives and traction system. I got stuck in traction system but smhw managed. Now one of them gave me 3 qns from 8051.
Finally after this drilling one of them told me Kiran u hv ticked all boxes very well and then asked me abt my college and faculties.
Now the 1st member told me "Kiran it was pleasure to hv u here and we r not going to ask u any banking qn as we r going to teach u that"
The moment i was getting up one of the members asked me who is our Fin Min....I answered that. After that he asked me if u dont get TN will u be willing to work @Andhra. I replied and they said all the best.
My overall interview was of around 45-50 mins.
So friends this was my whole experience......the friends who joined me in coaching from Pagalguy would know this bcz all this were taught to us in advance.Overall it was an excellent experience and i can say my 20000/- did not go waste.
Whether our graduation knowledge play any role during the life of a PO at KVB ? If yes, i will quit now and start prepare for other exams. If no, just i prepare for interview and try my best. I am BE(EEE) 2014 pass out having no interests in my core. ( interview on 22nd August) Kindly share your views...

Finally done with my interview frnds @Abids,Hyd.. Am frm ECE backgrnd,2016 passed out.. After document verification,immediately I was sent for the Intrview.. Mine was no.2 1st candidate was Intrvwd for around 15min, he told us tht thy were just asking basics.. Next was my turn.. Enterd the room.. There were 3mem(seniors) M1: Askd me abt my surname, my native place, did I visit any kvb branch there.. The place wr I stay has a kvb branch,askd me whthr I visited tht branch.. Do u have an account? Wt type of accnt? Wt doc thy gave while opening accnt? M3: u r 2016 passed out,wt did u do in ths 1yr? M2: U have scored very gud marks in maths in ur 10th,12th n also in 3 engineering maths sub.. After having very gud score in all ur academics,y did u choose banking? Answerd.. Thy Wr satisfied M2: (Techncl qust) Tel me abt the elements in an electric circuit n expln abt dm. M3 interrupting in the middle M2: Wt is diode? M2: Wt is Bluetooth? -Expln how mobile works,how voice is transmitted? M2 was totally satisfied with my ans and was nodding his head n noting down my answers M1: wt is electron,proton M3: Do u read newspaper? In topic u r Intrstd? M1: wt is fusion,fision? Don't assume tht who ever Wr intrvwd for 10-15 don't do well.. Thy r just asking basics frnds..don't panic,prepre basics n u can rock.. Have a smile on ur face..😊
i think .kvb want specialist officer ....not PO .....i wasted my time by applying this worst exam..better kvb change notification name to specialist officer...
Atlast mine interview is also over today @Abids,Hyd. Firstly our documentation & verification was done and then we proceded towards our interview room..acc to our venue wise. Mine no. was 9th. Interview strted and and every candidate from 1st to 7th was was out after 10-15 mins individually. Finally my turn came.....There were 3 members all looked experienced and were above 55yrs.
The first member asked me abt my family and me.After that normal interview he asked me abt my gap in education since i am 2015 pass-out.After that he asked me some qns of Material technology and Manufacturing process.
Now qns were asked by other member from fluid mechanics & power plant & control Engg....... i replied for most of them and in between they were asking explanatons of sm points also.
After that one of them asked me to speak in telugu and he conversed with me in telugu and asked 1-2 qns from production technology in telugu itself.
After that another member asked me sm eqns and he was asking their significance and properties.
After that he asked me reason why i opted bangalore as my first choive and why not AP.....And asked me would i relocate?
Another member asked me who was the new president of India and after that told me to leave.
So,friends this was my interview experience 5mins were given to personal qns.....5 mins on gap in education....and around 20-25 mins on technical qn and 1 qn was from gk. Overall my interview was of around35-40mins.
I have wasted my time,money and preparation evrything over this interview and the hell they interviewed me today for 10-12 mins and send me out. Who will pay for all this?
At first everything was looking normal during interview asked me abt my life n all. Then asked me 2 technical qns.... i did not have any idea about..(.i completed my btech 2yrs back how can i hv any idea?)
Then the asked me music i love?
My favourite newspaper?
My fav politician?
Answered all three qns and after that was told ur interview is over All the best for ur result...it was pleasure to hv u............these same qns were asked not only to me but to even those who went before me without technical shit.
I was Happy, satisfied,content with my interview........waiting for other new made friends ......................then met a girl from my same clg and asked her experience and what she told me i could not even speak those qns.....they were real interview qns....they were like the one that i last heard 2 years back during my final year project submission.And to add to my surprise she was interviewed ....at the same venue....by same panelists.....for 50 solid mins.
Why the hell they wasted my time?
Why the hell they made me happy by asking such qns......they could hv carried on with their technical after those 2 qns also.....i could hv tried atlesst.
How can they judge me on those 2 qns that ......that I dont know technical.
What we have to mention in MAJOR ??, written in bio data form??
Can anyone suggest dresscode for males?? Suit or simply trouser and shirt... Tie??? And also share checklist before interview?? What important documents, cv, other certificates??? Please reply guys... Aap loko ka ho gaya hai and aapko maalum hoga..!! To do and not to do list..!!
Done with my interview. Like everyboby they interviewed me for 10 min. I am from mech. Bckgrnd. 2015 pass out. Questions are. Tell me about yourself Some questions about family bg. And college area. Now technical : Air conditioning principle, Parts in AC, fluids used in AC, surface tension And its formula, Industrial management, Material measurment, Professional ethics, Latest developments in banking. That all. I know only basics. Thatswhy i couldnt have able to answer cross questions. I think I am also out. All the best guys.
Hi friends, hope u all r preparing for ur interview......hope u show what kvb really want.
My interview was at Alwarpet,Chennai. Centre was 200kms from my house.....i reached there around 830.After all documentations/verfications all formalities we were rushed towards interview hall.
Interviews were going really fast... evry candidate was in-out after 10-12 mins. My number was 15 and i went in.
They asked me abt me n my family n all. After that one of them told me yesterday they got 3 candidates from my college and they were brilliant in their knowledge....asked me whether i can compete with them or not. They also told they were 2017 pass-out and u r 2014 so they expected more knowledge from me as i was their senior.Grilled me abt my education gap......and wanted me to say that i was a failure.
After that without wasting any time he asked me 3-4 technical qns from my ECE grad and qns varied from Networks to signals to communication to dsp. I trid to answer but was stopped many times as they flodded me with their counter qns and it was getting difficult to cope up.....and they came to know that i was not that strong in technical qns.
After that they did not ask me any qns and told me they were happy to interview me......and wished me good luck.
I wont say it was a very good interview bcz i saw there... what is a good interview....but it happened to only few.
My interview was of sm 10-15mins but one after me and few at other venues were interviewed well & got even 50mins-1hour time to Showcase their Talent.
Overall it was a waste of time or i can say time-pass only... fr me but good thing is that i dont hv to wait for its result....i know what it will be. But will surely regret for sm time abt the time spent on it.
Others who r remaining all the best...Hope it gives idea what to prepare.
