what is aao's work??where he stands in the hierarchy of lic employees ?? how much is the salary??where we can be posted??and the list goes on..typical questions that comes to every mind during preparation for exam.
i will try to explain this question based on my short experience in lic aao till now..
AAO is supposed to work as an hod in any department of branch office of lic..there are so many department in the branch like accounts,sales,new business etc..
aao is the junior most class one officer in the class 1 officer hierarchy
In any typical branch officer there will be class 4 and class 3 employees how will be working in the different departments headed by aao.
class 2 employees of lic are related to marketing side.
so the work of aao is kind of supervisory in nature but as an hod he is responsible for each and every thing related to department.
salary is sufficient even as a trainee officer
i am drawing around 50k right now.
as you are an class 1 officer you can be posted any where in india..but do not worry lic culture is same everywhere cordial supportive.
and and and almost all the executive director,managing director and chairman joined Lic as an aao at some point of time or other..
aao can go upto chairman of lic..
Mr S.K Roy -Lic chairman and he joined lic as aao in 1981
even the current irda chairman joined lic as an aao only.
aao's future in lic has been bright always..so prepare well you will get it..it is not a hard nut to crack i myself prepared for 2 and half months only..would like to see many of you in lic 29th aao batch..

Hi Guys!!!! I had not noticed earlier that I accidentally made a mistake in birth year in the lic aao form.. instead of 1992 it is showing 1994 as my birth year...what a blunder... is there any way i can correct it now.... I could not get any mail id of exam conducting authority...
