Hi....i had my interview today morning....
Things required....ssc/hsc mark sheet, degree certificate...if you are yet to get one take provisional certificate if u dont hv that either then consolidated mark sheet ( they wld ask uto rite a letter that you are yet to receive your certificates probably u il receive it by somedate ___)....certificate of conduct..2 attested from a gazetted officer with seal...u can allo get it frm ur professor or principal.. TC or conduct certificate frm the college last studied...exp letter frm your previous employer if u have work exp...extra curricular activities....all original and photocopy attested by gazetted officer or ur professor....conduct certificate from 2 Individuals original must be submitter photocopies not required....and ur online application form...dont worry if u dont have one..you have to rite a letter that u have missed it (format will be given at LIC office) fill it up with your serial no..they will provide you your online application form ...an other form is division/region preferred...whether u are comfortable to get posting else where or in the same division.... fill NA/NIL where ever applicable in the BIO data dont leave it blank or put a dash...final at the end of your application form Dated at ( your city name) 14th or 15th or 19th(relevant date) this September 2015.......................Interview exp :...Tell me abt ur self....GK que Minster of women and children welfare - Menaka Gandhi....they asked if i was interested in sports or history.... i said no..history a little wen i travel to places I learn abt it...they asked abt tanjore ( i told i had visted)...how old was bragatheeswara temple.i told more than 1500..it is actually 1000 yrs old bulid in 1005 AD which I forgot @ the time of interview....abt my family...im an MBA difference between Cost and price...the making of the product,pay for workers.branding packing.. delivery, ect...comprises cost and the marketer adds profit and fixes price to earn pft... i forgot to mention abt tax part which they expected.. asked abt wild lyf sanctuaries...named few and its specialty..im a BSc math grad so asked a que....CP+10%=MP....SP=MP-10%..is it pft or loss....its a loss but i said prft...oly after leaving he hall i reckoned....Pythagoras theorem which i explained...diff btw marketing and sales....as per kotler i knw sales is an activity of marketing..marketing starts frm prdtc design , segmentation, targeting, branding, differentiating....he specifically asked wats the diff....marketing has after sale activity like customer retention , service..but sales is just selling and making pft..thats wat he expected but i din say the last bit...i knw sale of services relies on service oly..we cannot say sales is just selling....any ways....finally...he asked abt the job profile whether i knw abt it i said yes and explained....he also added that in LIC this is the only job where u don't have job security...u might be terminated even if u become a DO and ur performances are not good.....so its not a permanent job......he also asked whether i had ritten any other exams i said yes...
my suggestion.... tell wat u know just say no to wat you dunno...think twice before answering don't be at haste and rethink later like me....if u get d job good...if u don't then also its ok dont worry..rite AO and clear in feb...:) gud luck...u can speak in your mother tongue...prepare on ur areas of interest hobbies GK and ur PG and UG main...he asked wat was written in their logo..i din remember....Good luck
Even security job has job security in govt. job, but this ADO nope. we will be targetted to fire if not reaching the targets.As of my knowledge after ado Targets will be given at the time of PDO-probationary DO. we have acheive it..if not our PDO time will be extended till we acheive. only after completing the targets we will be promoted as DO. then the real target game starts by recruiting agents thereby selling policies. minimum target is to sell the policies worth your monthly salary (ie) 300 policies per year minimum

Why Mumbai people have been left with no clue about their interview ?
Hi i am from bhubaneswar. my interview will be on 19 th sept. There is need of online call leter along with appl form . Is online call letter (written exam ) need for exam ? as i do nt posses that now i m horrible confused . please reply anybody if there is a need of online call leter and solution .

Done ...with d interview...Qs frm d sales & mktg,...lic & its function...do u knw job profile of ado...den asked how will u achieve d target...how will u manage d pressure...then my graduation subject what is inflation...how 2 measure it...what is insurance penetration...et al ..but d main thing thay wanted to knw ...i.e. survival of d fittest...prove that u r fit 4 dis job....so puys ...ATB
