We would like to welcome Simone Filippini to the International Advisory Board at Athena School of Management. Simone is a former senior Dutch diplomat. She served as Head of the Gender & Women Rights Department in the Netherlands MFA ,Consul-General for the Southeastern US and Dutch Caribbean, and Dutch Ambassador to North Macedonia. In 2013 she became CEO of Cordaid after which was ED of NIMD Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy .In 2018 Simone established Leadership4SDGs Foundation which aims at empowering government leadership to lead & drive achieving the SDGs.
Simone has been the elected International Secretary of the National Board of Dutch political party D66, President of the Skopje International School, Board member of the CIDSE – together for Global Justice & of the European Partnership for Democracy (EPD). She is member of the World Government Summit Dubai Global Council on SDG16, President of the UN Association for the Netherlands (UNANL) & Member of the Supervisory Board of the Netherlands-African Business Council & regular contributor to Horasis.
Athena School of Management looks forward to a Keynote Session with Dr. Jack Fuller on his new book - The Imagination Machine (https://theimaginationmachine.org), co-authored with Martin Reeves, Chairman - BCG Henderson Institute & Managing Director - Boston Consulting Group (BCG). Jack is a Project Manager at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) New York & member of the Strategy Lab at the BCG Henderson Institute. He is the coauthor of numerous business articles on topics including purpose, strategy games, transformation, play & goal setting. Prior to moving to New York, Jack completed a Masters & doctorate in Philosophical Theology at University of Oxford on a Rhodes Scholarship. He ahas an undergraduate degree in Neuroscience from University of Melbourne . Previously Jack worked for a global content creation agency, the Strategy Division of the Australian Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet, and the think tank Per Capita Australia. His writing has been published in Harvard Business Review , MIT Sloan Management Review, The Conversation & The Sydney Morning Herald .

Paolo is Professor (Education) in Strategy & Sustainability and Deputy Director (MBA and International) at UCL School of Management. He teaches sustainability & competitive advantage, strategy, consulting & future of cities. Before UCL, he spent six years at Imperial College London as Academic Director of the top-ranked MSc Management, Weekend MBA & Global Online MBA & led Global Student Experience at Imperial College Business School. He is regularly invited to teach on international MBA & EMBA programs in top business schools like EADA Business School & New York University. His projects, quotes & opinions have been featured over 200 times in media outlets like Financial Times, Forbes, The Telegraph and CNN. In 2018, Paolo was chosen as one of Poets&Quants top 40 business school professors under the age of 40. Athena School of Management welcomes Greg Crichton to our International Advisory Board. Greg has decades of experience in Asia’s Insurance & Corporate Sectors across multiple countries & jurisdictions. He is Managing Director of Greater Asian Advisors Limited in Hong Kong. He was Chief Regulatory & Legal Advisor to Asia Capital Re in Singapore. He was previously, a Director, EVP & General Counsel at American International Assurance (AIA) where he was responsible for APACex Japan & was a member of the AIA Board Audit Committee & one of AIG’s global ‘core employees’ sitting on many AIG boards. He currently serves as an independent director with Pico Far East Holdings . Greg was for over eight years the non-executive President Commissioner of PT Avrist Assurance in Indonesia & is Advisor to a leading European insurer as well as sitting on their Board in Hong Kong. He also previously served as a Member of the Hong Kong Inland Revenue Department Board of Review. Greg currently serves as a consultant to Oldham, Li & Nie (OLN) Solicitors.

Athena School of Management welcomes Fernando Costa Freire to our International Advisory Board. Fernando has diverse professional and personal interests and has attempted to dedicate time to several of them throughout his life. He started his career at the United Nations Security Council and worked in several posts in the UN Department of Political Affairs for almost a decade, including on peacekeeping missions in Africa and in the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs. He was later the coordinator of the Portuguese Presidency of the European Union at the UN. He was diplomatic advisor to two Portuguese Prime Ministers. Having left public service, he has been involved in several different business ventures over the last fifteen years. He set up in 2005 Edeluc Investment Consulting a business consultancy focused on China, presently active in particular on investments advisory, he served as a non-executive Board Member of Aman Bank and Board Member of MSF Qatar.
