OMG! How fast time passes in a B-school.Past few days past in a haze and I thought the first month was hectic.

I will start by applauding Alex for updating all the events in such a busy schedule.

Saturday was Finance conference as told by Alex.Yours truly was part of the reception committee for guests.
The day was divided into three sessions with various speakers speaking on the recent financial issues.Between the sessions was sumptuous breakfast,lunch and snacks..

Then form Monday the real fun started when the much awaited cultural week "Cultural Week" was flagged off with Ethnic Day.I wore traditional Bengali dhuti and panjabi.

And imagine a guy giving a presentation on Accounting principles wearing a dhoti and Shirt in south Indian style(folded in half and tied to waist).I will provide the link if some of you want to see these fun pics sometime.

Anyways signing off for now.Will get back later in night have to prepare for the ECO quiz and some Outreach assignments.

I have sent a request to Apurv for a interview from our director. Other than that, as I have not registered for any society / club other than the debating society I don't have much news about the happenings.

we will surely like to talk to them regarding this. but we also need some people who are active on pagalguy for frequent posts. I would like to meet some of you guys who are active here so that we can have a tie up with pagalguy. meet me in the institute on monday. we will then discuss how we can go about it.

LBSIM will be hosting the MAHINDRA AQ (Auto Quotient) on October 6th,2010 at Dwarks Campus.Its an automobile quiz organized by Mahindra Automobiles in association with NDTV....All are invited to participate in this quiz. For more details visit : Mahindra AQ

Hey Rahul Great to see you here! Atleast someone is taking some time out from the 'hectic' schedule we have!!!!!!!!

Life @ LBSIM is amazing I'll be posting some pics of our cultural week which will give you a peek into the masti we had! Imagine coming with your face painted all the way from home... and attending classes (Yes, you don't get respite from 'learning' ) ..or dressing up to look like a champu 😛 and even flaunting your ethnic wear, among other crazy things :P

And did i forget to the mention 'Vogue'..:w00t:

And we've had interactions with eminent guests from different industries and fields... One day in a week is dedicated for this purpose only 😃

I'll post all the details soon 😃 Right now i'm in a bit of a hurry as i've got two case studies to work on, plus two assignments!

and one more thing 😛 Sleeping somewhere around 2am-3am is 'normal' ..and waking up at around 7am-8am is necessary!

It's as hot as hell out here ......but 'Hell Yeah'..i'm loving it!!!!

Today the students left for different cities like Bangalore, Ahmedabad ,Kolkata ,Mumbai and many more for the Outreach Programme.
Outreach is of one week and the students interact with many industrial personnals.It provides students the opportunity to have an practical experience of the corporate world.More about outreach in few days..

And let me tell you that preparing for the outreach with no break from studies is extremely challenging..... After 3 weeks of sweating it out...we're ready for the the real thing! 😃

Two back to back power-packed days for us!!!!!!!!!

After a inspiring talk on 'Advantage People Skills' this Thursday by Mr. Suneel Keswani, a renowned motivational trainer who has more than 21 years of experience!:grin: A very enlightening session for all of us...




And today was the day for the petrol heads!!!!!!!!!!! Mahindra AQ was back for its third inning and it was a fun filled and exhilarating experience with intense competition in all the rounds. A informed audience made things only better

The winners of the Delhi round were the team from IIFT, while the host team LBSIM came runners up! Next year we won't settle for that!!!!!

And kudos to the Mahindra AQ team...a very well designed and executed quiz! 😃 And a special thanks to all the participants too! And all the best to the IIFT team 😃

After the AutoQuiz,the next day we had an alumni dinner @ LBSIM hosted by the Alumni Cell.
Lots of activities happened this week and lots are lined up ahead so eagerly waiting for them

End term project submission going on.Having 1-2 presentations per day.So all the students are to complete their project.
