how mant students got placed so far out of whole?
95% of the batch has been placed including opted out (entrepreneurs, those joining family businesses). Companies continue to visit the campus and placements likely to continue until mid June.
Is here any one who got admisson in FIIB . pls shere your views

I am currently in second year at FIIB, as you asked about my personal view about the college, i would like to my experience, the college passed its first batch out in 1995 so i hope you can understand the level of experience ! apart from that the college offers great amount of experience which i couldn't find in any other college(i came to know this through my friends who are studying in various colleges) FIIB has offered more than it has promised. The management is very supportive in all the matters and all the concern has always been focused on doing better for the students. Infrastructure is awesome, curriculum is suitable for all the students and last but most importantly, we were offered foreign tour and foreign faculty which changed our perception of thinking business completely and it was out of the world.. FIIB has been a rocking place as far as the events are concerned as most of it has been student driven and the level of exposure given to the students help them to be confident in handling the toughest situations at ease !! if you are thinking of joining an MBA institute which can give you an experience of ur life and a gr8 future FIIB is your destination.... as it has been for me and my batch (2011-13) please feel free to ask if you have any particular query... Glad to have one day off from internship well my internship is almost like job, getting complete job experience Monday to Saturday 10am to 7pm As I am doing my internship in operations field at Safexpress visiting their warehouses in various places like Manesar, Bawal, Bilaspur, Noida, Gurgaon etc has been a great experience overall ! and the best part, im getting paid(stipend) for it :-P My friends doing their internship at Kotak Mahindra bank, Reliance Fincorp, Dish Tv, Carrefour, are happy enough to have saturday and sunday both off !! :sneaky: but im learning more than them ... im gonna sleep !
Summer Internship are on.. and so is our critical stage of lend learning and getting a flavor of the real corporate world...Let me tell you this is it is'nt easy.. But as they say miracles dont happen in an instance... It takes sweat hardwork and determination.. Good luck to all FIIBians and warning for all aspiring FIIBians... You really have to work...

Hey, the placements have been almost 100% to be precise i would say 96% with max package goin around 8 in finance n marketing and minimum 2.5 in H.R. if you want details ill let you know in few days as we are all in our internships currently so dont have current stats... Stay blessed
Good Morning Everyone Being the cultural head I'm super excited about the orientation week for the first group of new batch (2012-2014) joining us from 11th june. We have planned a whole week of fun and experience they wont forget. It would be a week in which every day they would have Fun with studies, like Social evening with seniors and faculty, Games at BluO, Movie night, cultural day, Mountaineering e.t.c. It is going to be a dream orientation week for the juniors... but as I am the Cultural head i get to be a close part of all this :-P Stay Blessed !! have to rush to my internship. Punctuality is the key to success !! not because u gain something out of it, but u get saved from a lot of other things like yelling of boss....:nono: :-P

Hey ashuu1, As you asked for the companies for SIP first, the major companies which offered SIP at our college this year are Kotak Mahindra Bank, Carrefour, Safexpress, Hero Cycles, Aditya Birla Group, Reliance, Bajaj Fincorp, Dexter, Dish TV, State Trading Corporation of India(Govt.) e.t.c.(and a lot more but my memory isn't too good to hold all that...)
and the second question about the P.G. one of the juniors who would be joining the current batch (2012-14 batch) is coming to college for the same reason. I would be going along with him to find out the charges of various PGs available nearby. So give me a days time ill get back to you on this, most probably by evening or tomorrow....:cheerio:
It has almost been 2 months since I've been to college... Missing those early classes of WAC, where we used to do roleplays, watch fun case videos, etc. Interesting marketing classes... Chatting in the canteen, studying in the library right before the exam :grin: Birthday celebration in the canteen. field trips, and mostly events !!!! cant wait to get back to college and plan out more events... next in row are : Orientation week then Freshers Party, Dandya night, Samavesh, etc (the list generally never ends..)

Dear ashuu1,:) As per your query, I have few options for PG as well as for rent for you. I had a talk with a PG owner near college. Rooms are available in that PG for a charge of Rs.3500 per month on twin sharing basis. Food is separate. Food (tiffin service) would cost you somewhere around 90-100 per day that would include Breakfast-lunch-dinner
Apart from that if you can manage to get someone with u to stay 1 room flat would be available near college for around 6.5k and 2 room flat would be available for 13-15k

Good Morning Friends:) Early start to the day ! have to go to Manesar Transshipment Hub of Safexpress to see their operations. The company gives complete practical knowledge. Every time i visit a hub, I see the text in textbooks being real... It becomes so easy to co-relate study with actual operations. I wish i had more time to spend at Safexpress but there is always a time duration for SIP(Summer Internship Program), mine ends on 10th june... But Im super excited to go back to college... Had a great day... To monitor a delivery process of safexpress i was sent at Maruti Factory ! Awesome place, its like another city with their own traffic rules and challan system.... but no bribing !! Its huge... ! Thank you FIIB again for this opportunity and Safexpress for such a great exposure to practical world of logistics !!
