Hey all,
Great Lakes sounds like an awesome place to be.
Checked out the campus earlier this week. The place is housed in a single building, not very impressive.
But I couldn't help thinking that inspite of not having great infrastructure etc, if the placements and stuff are this good, something really right must be happening in there. 😃
Have my GD/PI on the 3rd, really hoping to make it.

I have got admission into GreatLakes for 2007 batch and i need some info and unbiased advice from you and will be very thanksful to you. I have 97.33 percentile in CAT and i am basically a Comp.Sc. engg and have work ex of 3+ years. My confusion is that i have got admission into Narsee Monjee also and my results for SPJain are awaited. In this scenario what will be ur advise for joining Great Lakes. Your advice will be highly appreciated and will help me a lot.Also how real are the placement factors mentioned in website, as most of the institutes exaggerate the details.

Rather than asking any student about payment details, i would advise u ppl to directly contact the Finance Department, because the students are not handling the payment part

...also tell abt the loan structure...do w e have to come personally to chennai before joining of inst. to avail the loan from Indian Bank as the deadline to submit the balance amt is 7th April...or is there any other branch of indian bank in delhi where we can go as my family is there and me in nagpur...and the time is very short...
it is also mentioned in letter that we have to necessarily purchase the laptop from the inst...which is costing 60K ...why is it so?...i already have a laptop...:(
