Done with my OB presentation today guys it was a average, so now preparing for my MIS presentation which is going to held on tomorrow .... really feeling nervous as i didn't read anything till now so just keeping my fingers cross and hopping for the best
done with the exam !!!feeling relaxed but again keeping myself ready for the next battle presentation and gd`s ...which is very important part of the grooming in b`school .hope that i will do good in the both of the part specially presentation because till the time you will not prepare your content wisely till that point of time you will not able to deliver it in front of audience and mentor and after the presentation q/a session will be the test of your preparation so keeping my fingers crossed for the presentations !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today we had Business reading session in our college and I have to speak on Dabbawala.....
Wow..... 😃😃 it was a great experience as I have to speak in front of the mentors and share my opinions and knowledge regarding the topic.
Dabbawala are those who use to carry and deliver lunch box with freshly prepared food from home to the offices and vice versa. I talked about their work load, team effort, accuracy and lots more…
Moreover, I told them how dabbawala teaches others to manage such a big organization with low capital, concentrated on customer satisfaction, that's why dabbawala association is six sigma certified.
While preparing my topic, I just gone through with one article in Indian Express by Abhishek Dinkar Ekal Vice President on Dabbawala Association, I come to know that 85% of dabbawala's are illiterate and rest of them is educated up to 10th grade but still through learning, cooperation, and team work they made their work more efficient and effective and create a place in the world of their own. Even share approx. 5-7% total share in the economy.
I concluded the topic with the statement that Dabbawala on the spot-
“Yesterday, today, tomorrow, excellent delivery system on time, every time.”👍👍
After that I got the feedback from teachers where got small appreciation but they told me it would be better as it is a vast topic as it is a service served by the association over a century.😃😃
So i move one step ahead to explore more info about the updates in my nearby surroundings. Feeling good 😃😃😃

We all are seriously lucky that we get a chance of studying in IMS college who every now and then organise many fest, many events and many other countless extra circular activities and also on the same by way by not comprising with our studies... so be happy and cheerful....
Choosing the right specialization
Choosing to do an MBA course is the first step in deciding your career in management, but with management being an extremely broad arena, the second crucial step then is to identify which function or specialization should one choose depending upon their inherent skills and factors. This decision should be well thought of as it lays the foundation for one's career in management.
There are myriad specializations available today, but one needs to weigh and evaluate one's aspirations, strengths, interest, skills, and its scope before choosing the right specialization.
Understand the curriculum before selecting the specialization. An analysis of the course and subjects would apprise you of the expectations from the specialization. Therefore give enough time to do a research on the subjects and the areas where you can apply those.
From a macro point of view, we also need to consider the overall division of jobs in the companies which is 70 per cent jobs in marketing and sales; 15 per cent in operations, 2 per cent finance and 3 per cent in the rest of the functions like HR, IT, legal etc. Therefore, we need to accept the fact that the maximum jobs would be in marketing/sales.
Although a management degree does not put you in a big league overnight and requires as much of hard work as any other profession, still it can accelerate the pace of one's career if rightly planned and pursued.
Choosing a specialization is a critical matter which cannot be altered later in life, therefore a 360 degree evaluation of internal strengths and external environment is necessary to take this informed decision.
