The performer of the day is Dr. Uma Sharma, who is a renowned classical dancer and has been awarded the Padma Bhushan for her unique contribution to the cultural tradition of this country. She has revolutionized the repertoire of the classical form of her chosen field of dance “Kathak” by enriching it with literary and intellectual substance by drawing upon and interpreting the works of great poets of our country from ancient to modern time. In spearheading the transformation of this art form, Uma Sharma has been at the center stage of events in the country. Her themes have etched out the color of concern about issues that matter.
She will be accompanied by Shri Madho Prasad (Vocal), Shri Mubarak Khan (Tabla), Shri Khalid Mustafa (Sitar) for a mesmerizing show.
IMS Ghaziabad on 9th January 2020 held this amazing bonfire. It was perfect warmth, perfect blend of people and ofcourse talent. It was a cold evening yet the spirits of IMSians were high and beaming. Guitars, fire and excited IMSians singing and enjoying around the fire were joined by the respected director,dean and faculty members. The ambience was also set to next level when our director Mr. Alok Pandey and dean Mr Tapan Kumar Nayak also joined student and sang for them. It was the night which justifies the saying learning with fun.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission to PGDM
- Applicants who have a minimum of three year Bachelor's degree with 50% marks or equivalent in any discipline recognized by the UGC/ AICTE are eligible to apply for admission to the PGDM programmes.
- Aspirants with relevant work experience and fresh graduates are also welcomed to apply.
- Candidates appearing for the final examination for the Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent examination) can also apply subject to submitting evidence to that effect latest by 30th November 2020.
NOTE: It is desired that aspirants complete all academic requirements before joining the program to enable them to keep pace with the rigor and internal assessment schedule of the program.

It all started with the thought of being a management graduate. We all know the country has so many b-schools to offer and all these options become a pool of confusion and same happened with me, along with confusion the pressure was mounting every day to finalize the last step of the education. Reviewing so many colleges simultaneously I was recommended IMS Ghaziabad by a friend. I had almost succumbed to the thought of a wrong decision when I 1st called IMS Ghaziabad to know about the GD/PI dates and that call made me adamant on my decision to explore this option. The procedures completed and IMS became my 1st ever step away from home. Being unsure of what lay ahead I came to IMS and seriously it was the best environment and cozy atmosphere one could have on the very 1st day. Students here welcomed with open hearts and friendliness. The 1st day never seemed like the new comer because everyone was equally beaming with excitement to have me there. The curriculum, the faculty, the routine nothing became an issue as anyone could easily blend to whatever was available without any hassles. With the time passing every day is still new and refreshing as it was on very 1st day. IMS provides everyone with new opportunities to explore, groom and nourish themselves in all spheres of life. The life goes on with the fast pace and it becomes the exposure similar to corporate life which lays ahead. IMS has helped me groom in every phase. It helped me instill my confidence, polish my soft skill and brighten my future with the amazing course that is industry- oriented.
Technotsav-2020 is the Annual I.T. fest of Institute of Management Studies (IMS), Ghaziabad. This IT Fest aims to provide a platform for UG students from all over India to showcase their technical prowess, talent and enthusiasm. The activities culminated in a grand one day Fest in the Lal Quan campus of IMS, Ghaziabad. It included various events viz. Codex (Blind Coding), Gamers Den (I.T. Game), Thinking Bots (The Quiz) and Ideathon (The Project Presentation). The grand event started with lighting of ceremonial lamp with Saraswati Vandana. Prof Alok Pandey (Director, IMS Ghaziabad) welcomed all the distinguished guests and participants.Mr Sumit Mathur, Director Treasury (Secured Funding) Technology, Royal Bank of Scotland graced the occasion as Chief Guest and addressed the gathering. Vote of Thanks was extended by Prof. Sachin Malhotra, Dean MCA & Area Chair IT. The competitions started with full enthusiasm in different sections of the institute. More than 300 students from different parts of the country participated. RMSI, MCN Solution and Chetu were main sponsors for Technotsav. Rajneesh Kumar, Sachin Jalota, Divya Singhal represented RMSI, Swati Katiyar and Puneet Dhasmana represented Chetu. The event wrapped up with cultural performances and felicitation ceremony. All Winners were felicitated with cash prizes, trophies and goodies. Winners for codex were - utkarsh sharma (IMIT hapur) & satyamani srivastava (Invertis university); first prize for gamer’s den went to neeraj bhandari, pulkit kohli, rahul khushawaha, shivam chaurasia (IMS ghaziabad) & second prize winners were - varun tyagi, prince yadav, rohan chaudhary, himanshu sahi (IMSUC campus). First prize winners for Ideathon were - pushkar dubey, and second prize winners were lov dubey (Invertis university). The first prize for Thinking bots (Quiz) was awarded to the team of ayush gangwar & keshav sharma (Invertis university) and second prize went to hemant kumar & ashutosh sinha (HRIT). All participants were given goodies and participation certificates.
