IMS Ghaziabad Organized “Tablets Distribution Ceremony”
In order to strengthen the technical skills of the young learners, IMS Ghaziabad organized a “Tablets Distribution Ceremony” for III year, Batch 2019-22 students of Master of Computer Applications on April 04, 2022. The initiative was conducted under the “Digishakti Scheme” launched by the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Yogi Adityanath for giving a push to the digital India campaign and to link the youth of Uttar Pradesh with it. 44 laptops were distributed free of cost by Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director, IMS Ghaziabad.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Urvashi applauded the efforts of the state government in conceptualizing and effectively implementing the massive drive to distribute tablets and smart phones free of cost to over one crore students of undergraduate and post graduate courses. She emphasized that the domains of Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning etc. will be hot selling cakes in times to come. Inspiring the budding professionals to be abreast with the technological breakthroughs, she advised them to hone their skill sets as per the requirements of the market.
