Milaap 2019 was held over the weekend at K.J. Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research - SIMSR to celebrate the reunions for the batches of 1994, 1999, 2004 & 2009.
Alumni travelled from various parts of the country as well as the world to meet their batchmates & faculty, and to relive their college days.
To give a glimpse of the developments in the campus, the alumni were taken on a guided campus tour followed by Director's address & mesmerising cultural performances. Post lunch the alumni took a walk down the memory lane by interacting with faculty from their times, games, fun awards and batch videos. New memories were made and the old ones relived where it had all started.

PGDM - Communication organised the 4th edition of The BigWigs Speak with 'Pops' KV Sridhar, as their esteemed speaker of ‘The BigWigs 4.0’.
The industry stalwart, Pops KV Sridhar, enlightened the audience on 'How to turn brands around in economic downturn', giving examples of brands that have been successful and profitable with the correct & mindful marketing strategies and the importance of a well knit brand story to explain the functionality of the brand to its consumers.
The talk went on further with a discussion between Pops KV Sridhar and Prof. Isaac Jacob where they discussed the significance of effective and novel communication strategies for brands with Pops sharing his personal experiences of turning brands around by gauging customer needs and acting on it.
