MET Institute of Pharmacy (Diploma) organised a field visit to Maharashtra Nature Park, Dharavi, Mumbai for the first year students of Pharmacy Diploma on 27 April 2022. A total of 52 students along with Mrs. Dipali Khabale, Faculty member, MET IOP (Diploma) visited the Maharashtra Nature Park.
The objective of the field visit was to make students understand the importance of different medicinal plants. The main trail began from the Education Centre Building and led to the nursery area covering all the educational sections available at the Nature Park. The middle trail started from the Butterfly Garden and covered the Astral Garden and Rainwater Harvesting Pond. The Astral Garden in the park has trees that correspond with the 27 zodiac signs and 27 constellations. Overall the field visit was very informative for the students.

MET Institute of PGDM organised a one-day seminar on ‘STOCKMIND – Virtual Trading Platform’ in collaboration with ICICI Direct on 25th February 2022.
The Guest Mr. Shubham Chourey, Marketing Manager, ICICI Securities Ltd. explained the importance of analysing stocks and making the right decisions while trading, the impact of equity on stock pricing, power of compounding through case studies.
MET PGDM students were enlightened about the virtual trading platform and got professional insights on how the investments need to be planned out in the best possible manner by an individual trader.
MET Institute of PGDM organised ‘WebSeries Review Competition’ on 4th March 2022.
The competition was judged by Mr. Rajesh Chadha, Executive Vice President & Business Head at Banijay Asia with a rich experience spanning 27 years in companies such as BBC Studios, Endemol and RBNL to name a few.
Participating students in groups reviewed the Web Series from the OTT platforms and made presentations. The trending series like SquidGames, Jamtara, Black Mirror, Chernobyl, Kota Factory, The Founder, The Shawshank Redemption, etc. were reviewed and presented by students in very creative ways.
