Hello! Everyone :grinning:… Welcome to SDMIMD with me Vedashree. As Christmas is around the corner students are excited to try out something new and exciting stuff in the campus. Students have decided to conduct a very fun activity called “Secret Santa” where every individual have to pick a draw which contains the name of the students and gift them any thing of their choice and the name remains confidential until the gift is given, this will create a sense of emotional bonding and unity among the students during the beautiful festival of Christmas. :evergreen_tree: :sparkles:

Hi all, welcome to SDMIMD with me Anurima. I would like you all to get a glimpse of life here at SDMIMD. Before taking admission to any college the very first thing that comes to our mind apart from the curriculum , placements and fees is how exactly is the life there in the campus or even hostel for that matter.

Today I’ll be briefing you with very general events that take place here in hostel and college campus when the students are free from the classes and assignments. A place called Amphitheatre is here in campus which is frequently used for small musical concerts that the students here conduct. People who are into music , who play instruments ,who sing and who are interested in listening to music gather up here at a suitable time and listen to students sing and play different kind of instruments.

People generally connect on a WhatsApp group in which all the SDMits are added , one person texts on the group with the timing mentioned over there and everybody who is interested gathers up there and enjoy their leisure time. It is a fun session and a very productive one as it helps people to connect with each other. People who don’t usually talk much also start listening to people sing and start singing along with them.

It is a kind of a mini concert where more than 50 students gather up and sing together, enjoy the break from curriculum, click photos , record videos , post on social media and what not. This is just one of those many things that makes the life here at SDMIMD more happening.
