Whoa Whoa Whoa this is really scary stuff man! Neelabh-ji help karo...
I have not sent the work ex certificate also... the online registration form did not mention this anywhere.... :huh: it just said the printout of the page and DD with name and SNAP ID written on the back! This is not fair the form clearly mentioned that only those who have bought the form thru marketing agencies have to send along the copy of the payment authentification proforma... i have the pdf of the web page with me and it does not mention it anywhere!:huh::huh::huh:

@Sakshi... what did they say when u spoke to the people at SIIB?

I have actually told another friend too that only the printout and DD has to be sent... he has also sent it out! this is weird stuff!

this is a classic case of missing the cue and then blaming the bow. wen u fill the online registrstion form and the work experience section it is VERY CLEARLY mentioned there that u have to submit the work experience certificate on the company letterhead. and the institute is not to be blamed if u do not follow the instructions. i hav been trying to help people out but ur sarcasm does no gud to my spirits.let me make this thing very clear - Any act of ommision and commision on ur part is to be taken care by u and not the institute. i knw it is hard to stand in queue at post office but trust me this is what I did wen applying last year.so stop complaining and going round in circles. u do not hav to submit ur SSC,HSC,Graduation Mark Sheet. what was being asked for was a simple work ex certificate which can be sent by courier even now till 9 jan as an addendum. and yess no one will reject ur application in case u do not attach ur work ex certificate. it is just that u will not the weightage which is due. so it is in ur benefit to send that piece of paper. u decide ur future course of action.and stop cribbing abt money because it is ur FUTURE which is at stake.ATB

ok people,a lot of confusion is being circulated in this thread abt the documents to submit alongwith the application of SIIB. Let me tell this very categrically here- U DO NOT NEED TO SEND ANY OTHER DOCUMENT THAN THOSE APPLICABLE TO PEOPLE WITH WORK EX AND COMPANY SPONSORED CANDIDATES.people who have work ex need to send the certificate on company letterhead as is very clealy mentioned in the prospectus and on the online registration form. for people who hav not sent the work ex certificate can still send it as an addendum latest by 9 January.I just hope this clears all the smoke being created.

That envelope is for those who wish to apply after procuring the prospectus from some centers so that they can send the payment performa with the printout of online application form in the given envelope.
You have recieved the prospectus it means that the reciept of your application has been acknowledged. That's it.

I have not sent the workex certificate as I don't have any and I can't even ask for this from my company ( u may guess the reason) I can get it only at the time when I leave the Job.So could u please help me in this regard ,If u could talk with ur management b'coz they will also understand the reason.

its written in the prospectus, its written in the online registration form just below the colum which asks for ur work ex details. go visit the page again if u do not believe me. its written very clearly that to support any work ex above 6 mnths a certificate on compony letterhead has to be submitted alongwith the application form. this is the umpteenth time that i am repeating this on the forum and this is the truth. so go ahead and rush that certifiacte latest by 9 jan.

well dont worry , write 1st division , u gotta reach for an interview and u can explain if they question ....abt west bengala nd all

as far as sysrtems or marketing , see if ur not very sound in studies as u tell abt ur 12th class , u shouldnt go for systems because it demands lot of sitting and techncal studies so go for marketting , if ur fine then sys should be fine but marketting is HOT and evergreen to fit you anywhere

hey i agree with u that its mentioned in Brochure that work ex that to on letter head of company is requried but its for SPONSORED CATEGORY candidates not for normal open category on pg 12&13 .otherwise i cudnt spot where else it mentioned in Brochure AFAIK at website they mentioned only 6+ months workex will b considered thats all....WHERE WE BEEN ASKED TO SUBMIT IT pls Enlighten....if u have brochure or know desired location at college website...

i feel for u but can hardly do anything except empathasize wid u.i CANNOT get the rules ammended. if u think ur snap was awsome and u cud get a call even widout the weightage for work ex , then go ahead.thats all that i can say. and this makes me sad.tc

Dude... didnt mean to be sarcastic or anything man! sorry if i gave that impression.:huh:

It is very frustrating to do this kind of stuff and thats all i was expressing.
Anyway, but i have to make the point that the application processes are not very well coordinated in many cases... not just this case...
For instance the JMET application form had just 2 lines for address (it took some circus to squeeze in the 4 line address with the city name and pin in that much space!).. there can defenitely be some planning when it comes to application design! :whatthat:

These little things do matter... I know, i might be sounding a little lazy or lackadaisical when i say that waiting in post offices are boring and painful, but neglecting these small issues will lead to bigger problems..

I accept it was a mistake on my part not to notice the message about it being mandatory to send work ex certificate. it was in the first page, when you login for online registration entering details. but when i took a print out and read the line which said that "you need to send with the documents mentioned below" and did not see it mentioned there i obviously did not send it!

I think details matter... especially since i want to do a masters in administration and management.. call me a dweeb or what ever.. but when we see that German train schedules have times like 5:33, 6:37 etc and the precision at which they arrive at exactly even these odd times, i am assured that it cannot be done without giving heed to the small details.:whatthat:

And beleive me i wont be cribbing about the money if i had not sent the form completely by my mistake... again i too have some blame to take... :whatthat: Overlooking such matters!

Thats just the way it is and I am not complaining coz i have to shell out 30 extra bucks.. but coz such things have to be complained about! u see i have to complain so that someone in authority takes note and in the future it does not happen!

Anyway, i have to thank you, Neelabh-ji, one thing is for sure , you have spent your time and enquired at the office and all and been extremely prompt with your reply posts! Yes i will quit complaining and send it out tomorrow.
