i have applied for the course too. my wl no is 98.
do u know anything abt the current wl position and the no of people actually taking admission in the course. i am desperate to join the course and am very much interested in the field. as for u i wld suggest that u join the course if u r clear abt wht u want to do. the background is immaterial if u are interested in the field. there is a good scope 2-3 years down the line. and i have also heard that biotech can be used effectively with agri.

i guess i am joining teh forum pretty late, no issues read everyones comment man you all are jus rocking even be4 joining ... i really appreciate to make SIIB the best and beat otehr Bschols. why not when we have such highly motivated frens we can surely touch the zenith. Life will be hectic but thats the fun .. two years we need to be together and learn lot of things and yes hats off to neelab sometimes when iscroll my eyes in the forum i feel he is the only person studying in SIIB ... who took the pain right from the day teh process started till date . Hope we all will keep the same good work for the next batch .Eagerly waiting to meet you all at the campus ... till than party hard guys.

saw ur message on yahoogroup too...so replying to ur query nw....the average day at SIIB begins wid classes starting frm 9.15 in the morning classes can stretch upto 7.30 in the evening wid a 1/2 - 1 hour break for lunch in the afternoon.then u will hav to go to the health club 3 days in a week in the evening(GYM,AEROBICS,YOGA)...dinner starts frm 8.30 and the mess remains open till 10.30.after that it is entirely upto u wat u wanna do wid ur time...nerdy souls will move towards the library or their rooms to study...for people like urs truly this time is spent in the lab doing important work like blogging and offcourse PG lights hav to be switched off in the campus by 1 in the night though nowadays this rule is not being enforced.the night is the time wen we people sit down to do our assignments, meetings and other things.
as for u returning to chandigarh...well i will suggest keep ur homesickness in control...bcoz u wont get too many holidays to go home:( ...my roomie is frm chandigarh and trust me he has been to home just once in between...it is almost same for everyone else...so guess u will hav to manage that part .any other queries?
