Does SIIB mainly focus on international Business?? Do they have any specialization in finance??? becoz i would like to do specialization in finance or operations.
Will SIIB be the right institution to apply to???

Besides CITIbank, i have not seen any finance companies in the placement list..

Also, could someone from SIIB tell me wot was the job profile offered from CITIBank..

though SIIB offers int'l business course but we do have 4 spl.. Marketing, Finance, HR and Supply Chain mgmt...
dear friend... bank is not the only place where finance managers are required.. they are required in industries also...
but to answer ur question. regarding citigroup...
the companies on our website are as per last yr placement ...
this yr many more banks and consultancy came....
list is out on pg itself... plzz check other siib forums....

and yes.... if u wanna do mba with a flavor of int'l business ... do join us...

hey dost!!!
u might get a call ....
and if u have a rich work ex (more than 1) and /or very gud acads and / or ur professionally qualified such as engineer,CA etc..
then u have a very bright chance of getting call...
else also.. u might get a call..
so dont worry... dude.. SIIB worth considering...

There is a different cutoff only for IB and AB programs.. There arent any other cutoffs...

One more request to all u guys.. Please address any queries regarding admissions, cutoffs, placements etc on the other thread.. It will make life simple for everybody...

hiwell if u're doing mba in international business, u shoudn't expct an overseas placement immidiately. u'll be joining an mnc after graduating from the collgeand the knowledge that u'll gain here i.e. the internatiaonal perspective, will b and advantage for u to encash any oppurtunity of an overseas placement. however our superseniors are handling overseas tasks in various companiesall the best

I've checked my scores from PT's site , where they have given a detailed account of the paper and my score comes out to be a mere 66 , where I'd thought it to be about 70-75 before viewing the scores on PT's site...

Now I'm really tensed and want to know if SIIB's cutoffs can be around this score as well , so as for me to apply to this institute...?

I still feel u have an outside chance of getting through.....a decent profile would go a long way in ensuring that.......just apply for it......

hithe cutoffs given by various prep institutes vary widely. moreover it's just an expctd score these sites give to you. if u'll check your scores at careerlauncher, ims etc i hope it will vary.if u r really intrstd for the institute u should apply to it......all the best

Hi Ashish, I hav some issues with PGP ABM at SIIB.
Are agril. grads given preference over others? I m B.Tech. Agri. Engg. Grad. with 1 year work ex. in a tractor company. What ideal SNAP Score is required? I hope to get somewhere around 60+. Will you please explain the nature of placement for PGP-ABM MBAs, their job profile, MNCs or Domestic Companies (Since SIIB is recognized for its IB Program, will that add chances for ABM guys to have International placements being their sharing the same campus), also package. & also guide me how to prepare for GD/PI ? Are there stress interviews?
