The course focuses on a specialized training program to build expertise in foreign trade. Students would be catering to international business scenario through industry visits, live projects, dissertation and industry expert's interactions.

Mr. Rajendra Shende, Chairman TERRE Policy and former Director UNEP, the Chief Guest for the conclave shared his views on the current scenarios in the energy sector. With India aiming to achieve 20% of the total energy needs from Renewable Energy by 2022, he stressed on the need for innovation, disruptive technology, and youth potential of our country. Quoting Einstein, he implored the students to never do the insane repetition of the past.
The Guest of Honour for the day, Mr. Naveen Kumar, Executive Director of Power Finance Corporation, enlightened the audience in the relatively lesser known area of financial structure of the power sector of both renewable and non renewable energy. He spoke on the ground realities of the field, issues and challenges to be overcome for new projects including the financial issues. tie up with banks, bidding methods and much more.
Teachers are a huge part of one's life. They are the ones who set on the right path in your life. And on the occasion of the birthday of the visionary and former president Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, we at SIIB celebrated Teachers Day with great fervour along with the Kshitij Community.
Kshitij, meaning horizon, is the CSR initiative by SIIB focused on imparting education to the lesser privileged kids and creating a greener future for all of us. The three arms of the community includes the Wakad Team, Evening Team and Green Team was inaugurated for the year 2015-16 with the junior batch taking over the mantle from the seniors as the driving force of the community. Our respected director, madam Dr. Asmita Chitnis inaugurated event.

This unique alliance between government, industry and academia would try to shape and bridge the gaps in the industry for sustenance of business. Last date to register for the program is - 10th September'2015.
The two stalwarts invite applications for admissions for the PGDFT program from various fraternities of industry. The course focuses on a specialized training program to build and cater to the needs of the industry by blending academic and industrial inputs in the pedagogy. By combining the management and foreign trade expertise of the two organizations, the course intends to shape the human resource of the country for 'Make in India' campaign. It is intended to be a one year program and would have a semester pattern. The course would be conducted on weekends. The candidate would be experiencing various dimensions of international business scenario through industry visits, live projects, dissertation and industry expert's interactions.
