about hr cant say much bcoz i was never interestd in hr so nevr lookd for any info.reg ubs its university school where thngs work lik a govt insti babu type enviroment but its main strength is its faculty so the onus is on the student how much he can get from his profs. caio
just to correct you buddy ,even institutes like IIFM ,bhopal which are lower placed than UBS got average around 6.7 lacs . for uba Tribune initially reported 5.75 lacs, after 4 days around 6.3 lacs ,then after two weeks around 6.9 lacs as reported by friend of mine from UBS. and he said it will change because more and more companies are coming. finally it stopped around 7.1 lacs. highest placement is 12.5 lacs

well if you want to get call 93-94 will be sufficient ,but to be sure you have to be above 96.for yours knowledge 85% weight age is given to CAT score. 7.5 to GD & 7.5 to interview ,they do take work ex into account but as it is clear from interview percentage its not that much relevant ,same is the case with acads .

The campus atmosphere is abuzz with activity as people are getting shortlisted for various events and coordinating committies. Seniors are too busy wid their pre-placements and talking wid companies who are too eager to visit campus on day 0 and day 1. rest i'll keep u guys updated with all happening stuff as it goes on but hey i need ur support as i mite not b able to update all happening stuff as there is just too much rocking stuff in here.... packages well last year highest was around 12 l this year it could go higher %ile above 92 to get a call in general quota ... hope ur question was answered mohit
It's been around 40 days since 5th july 2010 when we began our journey of MBA@UBS and its been quite a fun-filled time. Our batch was inaugurated by a UBS alumnus & now Millipore India President Mr. Sudhir Kant who gave us an insight about university life and values we should incorporate during our stay. We were also segregated into various groups of our choice like Business cell, alumni cell, infra cell, hospitality cell and I opted for B cell and since then we've had several rounds of meetings. Some events that have taken place till now are sagacia 2010, scavenger hunt, Biz Kuiz-1 etc. The other major highlights have been guest lectures of Mr. P Balakrishnan (CEO India, Anglo American) and Mr. S Sandilya (Chairman, Eicher group) which were very interactive sessions providing info about their respective companies. Course has been going on at full pace and i have some catching up to do before our first monthly tests. Will keep posting updates. Thanx.

UBS Ludhiana has been bagging Top two positions in combined Panjab University Examinations ever since its inception in 2007. 2010 graduating batch placements for UBS Chandigarh were only 57 percent while for UBS Ludhiana it was Hundred percent. Summer Placements of UBS Ludhiana were better. Reputed companies like ONGC, NTPC, Airtel, Nestle, Glaxo etc visited only the UBS Ludhiana campus while in UBS Chandigarh only one company visited - for others interviews were conducted at the offices of companies. Library of UBS Ludhiana has Two Lakh books while that of UBS Chandigarh has only Ten Thousand books. UBS Ludhiana is registered with IIMs for CAT scores of 2010. What about UBS Chandigarh-is it registered this year or is it conducting its own separate entrance test! Ludhiana Stud Cheers UBS

Dude, why you keep posting bad things about UBS Chandigarh on every MBA forum when it is clear that you are not a student at the institute and have completely no information regarding what is happening at the institute.
Let us just compare the two institutes UBS Chandigarh and UBS Ludhiana so that people reading this forum can themselves judge which institute is better.
