All in good time

More news and proper exact updates on this will be available tomorrow :D

And here it is :)

Summers @ XLRI

Cheers,
Ninja

Post SIP has been a hectic time, with many assignments, submissions and what not! The only silver lining has been the Golf and Tennis lessons from professional experts, which do keep us going!

And, with the Alumni homecoming and MAXI Fair on the next two weekends being big and promising events, it would surely add to its touch of business networking and marketing fundas!

The entire campus is in a state of frenzy preparing for all these events!

Harsh

The MAXI Fair is on!!!
One of the best events to be a part of at XLRI...
It is all about fun and forgetting about all the assignments , mid terms and project deadlines for the weekend and dive into the fun-pool of one of the biggest Marketing fairs to be held in B-Skools of India

Here are some of the pics of the preperation...

I want the following info for one of my NRI friend

Are NRI students allowed to sit for placement ?
What perecent of the seats are there for NRI students?
is it compulsory for NRI students to take GMAT if they are already appearing for XAT?

thanks in anticipation

There are no percent of seats in XLRI for NRI students. NRI students can either use XAT or GMAT to gain admission to XLRI. And, NRI students are allowed to sit for placements too! I hope I have clarified all your queries. Please do use this thread:

What a pity this bootiphul thread is lying all dormant :whatthat:

Ok, a bit of exciting news

The dates phamous XL - IIMC Meet finally has been decided finally

The XLRI-IIM, Calcutta Sports Meet is scheduled to be held at our campus on the 2nd and 3rd of February of this year.

The meet comprises 18 formal sports events and 3 informal events. As for a bit of history - the trophy passed into the hands of XLRI in 2006 after a break of 8 years, and we are still the holders!
It is now upto our batches to give it our best shot and retain the honour of being the champions in the 'mother of all B-school meets' !!!

Ye Ye Ye

So we can also expect a XL puys - IIMC puys PG meet to be organised soon

Hi there,

I got the interview call (BM) from XLRI. I want to contact the admissions office. I have tried calling the telephone number given in the prospectus as well as email address ([email protected]), without any luck.
I was wondering if you guys can help me in contacting the admissions office.

Thank you,
Ashish

What a meet!!!

Was great fun, with a hell lot of sledging. I would like to thank XL for the awesome arrangements made for us on their campus (which is quite scenic- pun intended) :sly:

The intense rivalry was accompanied by bonding as well. To me the moment of the meet was when Krishanu came over to my side and we cheered players from both sides even as we supported our own players. 😃 It was nice meeting Ninja as well.

Rossogulla, my apologies for not speaking then. We shall meet next year for sure

All of us @ IIMC thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and join me in extending my gratitude :)

Sunil

P.S: Scoreline: IIMC-10 XL-6 (Carrom cancelled me hears)
P.P.S: Sorry, I had to do that

Thanks, Ninja...
For the uninitiated, Jishnu Dasgupta was the bass player in XL's Bodhi Tree band, who made Bodhi Tree (n XLRI) popular with 'XL ki kudiyan' and GMD...

And yh, it's quite a small list... My name isn't there... Just a wish, though... Sigh!
