Hi Shruti,

Two quick questions.
1. I have completed BBA specializing in finance. Can i expect a lot of finance based questions in the interview? And are gd topics usually business oriented?

2. By when can we expect the gd pi results to be out?

Same pinch..even I have done BBA but without any specilisation :)so they asked me my favorite paper and questions on that were asked.So if you are comfortable with finance related questions,then only speak about it..
GD topics are mostly current issues.At my time,it was Jai Ho.

GD PI results can be expected within 2 weeks after the whole process gets over 😃

You can take this initiative and start pouring in your views about any recent topic and the flow would get started.It would help you and your fellow aspirants :)

Well,to be honest,mine was bit grilling.I would rather advise you all to be confident while answering questions during PI.Like I am from commerce background,so I was asked about my favorite papers and then I was asked questions from it.

Btw please use that Konnect function 😃

Post interaction with my batchmates,I can make out that the following things for your GD-PI-

  1. Study your 2-3 graduation subjects very well
  2. Atleast be through with 2-3 of your favorite subject.In interview they would ask your favorite papers and ask questions on them
  3. You would b having same/similar background fellow aspirants and the specialist panel would be there.Eg-for engineers,there would be people from same background to ask you questions
  4. Freshers,please come prepared,of course work-ex people need to be ready too.
  5. Work-ex people,you maybe grilled on your experience mostly but it would be good if you study a paper or two atleast.There can be bit grilling on that
  6. Engineers-technical questions can be there too but according to you.Be confident with what you study.
  7. For the GD,mostly those are based on the current topics.
  8. Why MBE ?
  9. Why not MBA?

These are the points made according to the last year trend.I would add more as I recall more.Please make it a point to use that PG-Connect.I got it there specially for your convenience(not boasting of it)

hai seniors & Puys ....today i recieved the call letter for GD/PI but there is no mention of what all documents we r supposed to bring as it was mentioned in MFC letter ..seniors please help ...what all doc. are required ...thanks ....

Attention Please
Those who have not received their call letters yet,can call at the department to know what is the date allotted to them and timings.You guys just have to bring a valid photo id proof on that day if you don't have the letter.

For documents,last year,we were supposed to bring all the mark-sheets(original and xerox).For this year,if the letter asks for nothing then why you guys are so worried.

PS-The seniors are on preparatory leave,so its bit difficult to directly communicate with the department.So it is advisable to call up the department for your slot details.

i called up the department they said to bring all your marksheets, certificates and also the admit card of the exam

1. 1oth class marksheet and passing certificate
2. 12th class marksheet nd passing cetrificate
3.graduation marksheets
4.degree(if graduated)
5.bonafide certificate(if in final yr of grad)
6.work ex certificate
7.if any sc-st certificate
8.any other relevant certificate

do remember to carry the photocopies else dey wud make u run to get dem xeroxed at that time...

wt I feel is that its better to carry all the certis and a set of fotocopies to avoid harassment and that time....irrespective of wt is written in the call letters(MFC and MBE)...along with our admit cards....and a valid foto ID proof...
if we are carrying all these theres no way the department can deny us ur slot....thanx

Thanks mili for guiding the puys and along with those certificates-don't forget your admit card of MBE(yeah the one you took during the entrance exam)

for freshers is it necessary to carry the bonafide certificate.........
there is no mention of it in the interview letter though
but as per the last years requirement it is necessary
