hi all, i want ur advice those who are working as a PO or those who want a chnage from IT to banking. currently i am working in MNC as a software engineer since 2 years, but i always frustrated by the challenges, work pressure, my less technical abilities, and one of the big thing job insecurity, as there is always a performance pressure and i am not enjoying my work too. choosing engineer as a career is a 'bhed chaal' . i can't live without a job because of my family needs. But i am always fearful that one day i will definitely loose this job, i am not confident being a software engineer.........so pz help what to do...i am planning to give bank PO exams as job security matters for me..But at the same time a thing comes in my mind what people say and think about my decision......how i feel when my friends in IT earn 8-10-12 lakhs and i will earn 5-6lkh as bank po.

I need ur guidance. I hv joined as a PO this yr in May. I wish to switch over to RBI. I wasn't able to prepare well for Grade B so won't be appearing for it dis time.
My 1st ques is whether Grade B exam is held every yr?
Secondly, is it advisable to appear for RBI Assistant given that I already work as a PO?
Thirdly, when will RBI Assistant notification be out?

Hi everyone,
I am IT engineer in pune, i have recently got married 2 month back. so my question start now , my wife belongs from madhaya pradesh and she has been selected in IBPS clerck 3 in indian bank.
your answer would be appreciated as well as thanks in advance for your time.
1. Is transfer possible in clerk to pune(Maharashtra)?
2. if yes what to do for that or what is the procedure to initiate the transfer request.?
3. Any spouse rule comes in this category of transfer?
4 and how much time it may take to transfer as a clerk in pune.?
5 what is the problem comes or how to handle that when its come to state transfer?.
6. Any local language issue may come for transfer means in Maharashtra local lang is Marathi and in madhya pradesh is Hindi.?
Please let me know Asap , if you have answer for the same.

i want to know abt Andhra bank po transfers. one of my friend is posted at faridabad branch as po and she wants to come to punjab. so pls tell how much chances r there on spouse basis? my point of concern is d lesser no. of branches (one or two in every city) Is there any scope or she has to shift to sm other bank as she dnt want to get settled in NCR
i have been selected as PO in BoB this yr and my joining is on 15 sept, 2014 but i wish to postpone it by 2 months, 15 sept is the last choice which has been given to POs selected for BoB this yr.
I do not have a genuine reason for delay in doj, only that i want to prepare for some other exams...
Is there any way to convince the HR??

Are 6 months enough time to prepare? Without coaching can i prepare or not? Age criteria for po and clerk? Pls suggest

I left my job in Wipro for PO in Indian overseas bank, now its been over a month. i would like to know about the foreign exchange certifications suitable for a scale 1 manager as I have heard that a certification in forex is in hot demand in banking and would definitely make our career one notch above. I Am a Btech graduate, currently working in a psu on contract basis for 3 Years, but contract will renew next year, and as far as i have heard it will be renewed on 35K / Month. Got selected in PNB as PO and joining date is 26 July 2014.Hell confused,, what to do ,, finally thot i should join cuz of the positives but considering the posting part ( rural ) , away from home and working culture ( small branches , less availability of things ) , confused , and reading that story of life as a banker is making me confused all over again. What should i do yaar,, time is passing by ,, I have to take the decision jaldi !!!!!!!
