My predictions for cut : General 128-130 Safe 138-142 OBC 120-125 Safe 132-135 SC 115-118 Safe 126-130 ST 112-115 Safe 122-126
Those who appeared last year, can you please share your English marks you got and what u expected ?
Since a lot of people are worried about the Descriptive English section-
Here's an analysis-
1. The English section is merely to test your standard of English language. Your knowledge has already been tested in the ESI+ARD paper.
2. Relevant facts and good presentation will definitely help you score better; but the range of scores will not be wide.
3. Any candidate who has stayed true to the formats syntax limits etc and stays clear of grammatical errors- will be awarded atleast the pre determined cutoff marks. Excellence in content writing will naturally fetch higher marks.
4. I believe that the predetermined cutoff is two-thirds of the paper and anybody following the above condition does not have to dread getting disqualified.

I am getting 67 in objective paper and my descriptive paper was also good. Also, I am from OBC category and applied for the GENERAL post.
What are my chances for getting an interview call? And if yes,what are the chances of converting it to the final merit list?

Last year‘s cut off for OBc candidates under General post was 125 (for interview call ) and final selection cut off was 142.5.
Do you guys think that cut off will go down this year ? Was the paper tougher than last years or the other way round?
