NABARD Recruitment 2019-20 | PaGaLGuY

My last year NABARD interview experience :

(Board - 5 persons including one female)

As soon as I entered the room they showed a ppt slide and asked me to read out the slide. It was a small paragraph related to "sheep farming" Then they started bombarding the questions :

P1  - What do you know about sheep farming ?

How to avail a loan for sheep farming ?

Is there any special schemes or interest rate subsidy for the loan ?

P2 -  How do you make a project report on this ? ( Luckily I had a project few years              back so could answer some technical aspects of it)

How do you find total cost ?

what is discounting cash flow ?

Feasibility study of the project ?

P3     What is the current poverty rate in India ?

"In India rich is becoming richer and poor is becoming poorer" do you agree ?               Substantiate.

What do you understand by watershed mgmt ?

"India is a rich country with poor people" your comments ?

P4   - One question on sustainable development

         One question on Human Capital

State specific questions like  : What is the growth and GDP of Bihar, current                   scenario. Comparison with Maharastra and Gujarat.

P5     Regarding my project on Fly ash brick

          What is JICA

P.S. - I had no idea regarding sheep farming so fumbled in first 2-3 questions but later part of the interview was better but overall it was average. I scored 12 out of 25 and could not make it to the final list. This year I didn't appear because of state civil services mains.

All the best to all who appeared in Mains and expecting interview call

Sorry little off topic , guys i need some good sites to practice quant n reasoning , please suggest with good selection of question close to what we get in IBPS.

thanks guys cheers

Those who think last year's cut-off for final selection is ill-logical. here is a little illustration.

Phase 2 cut-off (lower ceiling)- 113, suppose he gets full marks in interview, his final marks, 113 +25 = 138.

Now, suppose top 50 gen candidates get b/w 130-135 marks in phase 2, min possible cut off fr final selection 135 + 0 = 135.

All guys scoring 113 and above have a chance!

But 50 gys b/w 130-135 got atleast 14 marks in interv so final cut off 130 +14= 144.

Some guys say b/w 113-120 don't have any chance!

This is the logic friends!!

What should be the answer of pahal question was it meant to reduce subsidy leakage which one of the option or was it meant to provide DBT to rula women.{which i marked}.but this scheme is applicable to both urban and rula areas.and the first option{preventing leakage} is definately one of the objective. so should be the answer of this question

Its happening as predicted by Mr Arvind subramanian in outlook for indian economy section in economic survey , All the policies are being made considering oil will remain @45  per barrel . If goes up inflation will peak and as exports already taking dip big troubles ahead...
