Just had a talk with assistant manager in NABARD. He told me that extension is possible in NABARD and there will be no effect whatsoever on profile on posting.Infact in their batch about 40 people took extension. If atleast 15 people ask extension they will give it. Also one can rechedule medical and they may consider it. But everything has to be in written format with them, so mail them asking for extension and rescheduling medical.
I hoping all upsc aspirants giving mains this year ask for extension coz in medical atleast 2 days are lost according to the manager.

I just got a mail from NABARD HR regarding medical exam....this is what it says...
Please refer to our letter No. NB.HRMD.PA 3996/32/2016-17 dated 16/17 November 2016 and your acceptance to the terms and conditions indicated therein. In this connection, we advise you to report to the Chief General Manager/ General Manager, NABARD, New Delhi Regional Office, 24, Rajendar Place New Delhi - 110 008 New Delhi on or before 28.11.2016 for an appointment with Bank’s Medical Officer for pre-recruitment medical examination. Please bring along with you a valid Photo ID (PAN, Aadhar Card, Driving License, Passport, etc.) and a copy of this letter.You may please note that the medical examination may take one or two days to complete.
