@IIM shillong due to a mistake i mentioned my total duration of work experience as 18 months(till 31 December,2015) while it has been asked to mention the total work experience as on 31 December,2014 which is 6 months, as my interview has already taken place on 29th January so kindly suggest what should i do..

Not sure if i am posting at the right place. I had my interview yesterday. Today i realized that while filling up the form my graduation marks and maximum possible marks got interchanged i.e. i wrote actual marks under max marks and vice versa. Could anyone tell me the impact of this and how this can be rectified?

The prevalent VIP Culture in India is feudal and makes a mockery of democratic equality. Should one move to judiciary to curb this VIP Culture? Share your views.
I opened the essay with a real life experience. Mentioned how VIP culture indirectly promotes corruption, restated the statement of it making mockery of democratic equality, suggested use of internet technology to minimise human interaction (minimum govt. Maximum governance) and concluded with requirement of robust mandates required in the law.

P2: Tell us about your work experience at TCE. (I am a Civil Engineer with work-ex in core)
(simultaneously P3 was reading my essay & P1 with a pen noting down something)

P2: Did you get an opportunity to convince client?
Told. (I indirectly got the opportunity)
P2: Suppose we are board of directors and we order you that out of the 3 options do not suggest the best one for client but suggest the one where we(company) will earn something. (Checking ethics I guess)
Answered with an excellent line, it was impromptu!
P3: (finished reading the essay) you have mentioned internet in your essay. What is your take on current net neutrality issue?
I was for net neutrality. Told the view points.
P3: Now the TRAI have ruled in the favour of net neutrality. Give some arguments against or arguments by Fb free basics/telecom companies.
I was very well prepared with numbers & statistics so answered it confidently.
P1: Why MBA?
Talked about my venture & entrepreneurship, mistakes made and my aspirations.
They did not look convinced - as expected 😉
P2: Do you know Qutub Minar?
I said YES & No. Not structurally.
P2: What all factors are taken into consideration while building a qutub minar?
Went in deep technical with Civil jargons. (I had realised that none of them know a thing about civil engineering... hahaha..)
P1: Again why MBA? Do you know how much it costs? What is interest rate on educational loan? How much time will it take to repay?
Answered again.
And it was over. They offered me dry fruits. I think it lasted for 20 mins. Approx.
PS: Taxis refuse to drive
from Dadar station to the location. I had to walk for 10 minutes approx.
I've submitted my application form, but forgot to mention some important extra curricular activities. Anyway i can edit the form? There is only an option for print on the iim kashipur website 😞

Me: Took a while to come to wavelength difference, but arrived at correct answer finally.
M2: JNU issue, your opinion?
M1: Extra cullrriculars?
M2: He asked if i was working. Realized I was fresher. Asked for certificates of extra curricular achievements. Gave.
M2: Have a toffee.
Me: Popped it right outside. 10:35am.
Tip: Chilled out interview. Basic school knowledge testing. They try to be mean, but just keep smiling. Attempt humor if you get the chance. Previous candidate was asked wonders of the world.
