Hello , all the baby IIMs have stated their CAT sectional cutoff above 80 percentile. I have 79.34 percentile in a section. Do the IIMs consider this as hard and fast rule or they consider relaxation to some extent ? are there any chances ?

In last year's thread I saw that even though amritsar had sectional cutoff of 70 it cheated at the last moment and kept the sectionals at 80, will the same thing happen again?

Do newest iim lower thier sectional cutoff afterwards if they dont find much applicants in obc? last year trends? some1 told me they asked for EOI last year ,asking as I have 49.74 in DILR and loosing all iims bcs of that, anyone plz help as this yr I have to take admission
